Milk can last about a day or two past it expiration date and still be find. the expiration date is a most likely date that it will go bad not a definite date.

If you make a wish on seeing the first star in the evening, your wish will come true. This is usually accompanied by the following folk rhyme:
Starlight, star bright,
First star I see tonight;
Wish I may, wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
You should make a wish on seeing a falling star.

chinese superstition.
here are philippine superstitions:
1.) having your bed facing the door will allow a ghost to eat your soul
2.) while pregnant, you must put garlic in your room because a "manananggal"(it means someone taking out something) will eat your baby. don't doubt this, it has happened to a sister of our maid. on 6 months being pregnant, she always heard the dog barking at night and nails scratching along concrete walls. on 8 months one morning she woke up to find her baby dead out of her womb with blood all over the walls.
3.)someone with a black tongue will be able to put a curse of death on you whether intentional or not. as long as the word "die" came out of her mouth and directed at the person.

1)When you quote a post already containing 10+ quotes in it already you will get punched in the face or power-bombed. It's true, I've seen it happen.
2)Shaking your leg causes you to lose money (Because it is stimulating money falling out of your pocket).
3)Scary Game:
Go in a room with however many people you have preferably 5+ and close the door
Number each person off
Starting with the first person they will go out the door and close the door behind them.
The next person(person #2) will go and open the door to allow the outside person(person #1) in and proceed to go out and close the door behind them.
Continue this for several rounds, if you run out of people just continue doing it again starting from person #1.
Now if you see something behind the person do not close the door on them or they will die; you must blow at the door to rid of this thing.

oh! I thought it had something to do with feng sui
Here's another feng sui, (that I believe!!!): If your staircase faces the door, it means your money will "fall out the door".
I'm never buying a house with that kind of staircase.

feng sui...yeah i believed that too at first. but a feng sui guy told us to face our bed to the door because it will help make the child(me and my brothers) become more studious. so i figured if a feng sui guy said this then it must not come from feng sui but from superstition

oh no!! I got it mixed up.
You're not suppose to have the bed pointing toward the staircase. I don't know why,... but it's just not good. (as in, when you sleep, you shouldn't be able to see the stairs, or that'd be bad luck)
Pointing at the door, I thought, was bad too =s, but your feng shui master said differently...
