Ok I got one! I donno why but my mom told me not to buy anything involving "time" on the month of your birthday. (i.e. watch, clock...etc.).

BECAUSE!!! if you give somebody a "clock" on their birthday, it means it's their "time to die"

So, us (Chinese) never gives clocks/something with time, to anybody. I don't =) and I don't like receiving it either. It's bad luck!
