Hi guys! I'm looking for a specific genre here:

1. Romance
2. Initially strong female, weak male
3. Male becomes strong either to catch up to the female or protect her

Titles I've read that include this specific genre would include:
Girls of the Wilds
Omamori Himari (not really, but I HOPE he eventually gets strong)
Green Boy
Kenichi
Breaker: New Waves

Claymore - though there is time skip and the male lead gets strong after it
Kiba no Tabishounin - The Arms Peddler - seems to be going that way
Zippy Ziggy
Kurogane (IKEZAWA Haruto) - the strong girl doesn't seem to be his love interest though
Rappi Rangai - though it gets meh later on
Maybe Zeroin, but the guy doesn't get much stronger.
Kaibutsu Oujo the romance is pretty much non-existant, but the male lead does get stronger over time (it sure goes slow). It has lots of strong females in it.

I'm not sure, if this will suit your taste, but maybe you can give Tenjou Tenge a try, because - If I remember rightly - the female characters are as strong as the male characters, while some of the the latter are trying hard to keep up with them? ^^"
