Some scenes are quite shocking, but the characters are always lovey-dovey and the plot funny.

I feel like I'm always recommending the same stuff, but really: if it's not good, why recommend in the first place? So, hot and yet cute~

Kare no Barairo no Jinsei (the former's even better sequel)
Little Butterfly is pretty much honey and sugar wrapped in drama.
Non Tea Room, cute but not really lovey-dovey as in flowers and ponies.
Doushitemo Furetakunai the sweetest thing there is, but again: no flowers, no ponies.
Kirai Ja Nai Kedo may also apply. It's really hot.
Jukentsu Drop although the yaoi comes later...
Kimi no Iru Sekai Shikairanai is cute no matter how you look at it, but it carries a lot of emotional, family drama.
Star-like Words is hardcore, funny and really lovey-dovey. Everything from Junko is pretty much what you're looking for.

The level of hardcore in these works vary significantly, as you didn't specify much on the subject. And I guess what one considers "cute" may be nowhere near "cute" for others, so... we never know.

It's true those doujinshis are severely hardcore - severely as in disturbingly, to the verge of make you nauseous hardcore -, and they are so not cute, ahah. Really. I don't think they're even translated right, for that matter...
