wow that's a pretty broad search actually. there's a lot of shounen manga with those character archetypes (almost all of them actually). the most classic being Goku and such. you can find it for a good amount of stories now too. you really just have to pick and choose which one you feel is the right one for you.

In Kurohime, Zero is. He isn't the main character though. Hmm.
Tegami Bachi, I'd say Lag is.
Bakuman They can't keep secrets in this one.

And of course Naruto and One Piece's Luffy.

I see what you're saying, but "honest" is just so broad, that any sort of honesty could apply. Thorfinn is honest because he wants his revenge and makes no attempt to hide that fact.

And probably the fact that he insists on a duel rather than stab the guy in the back. And yeah, honest is too broad a term that almost every shounen-action manga protagonist can fit in it.
