Your IQ

My IQ was tested to see if I qualified for the advanced classes in my school. I got in with an IQ of 137.
By the way, a train robbery means... come to the destination by train, then commit a robbery... then jump on a train and run. Or something like that, right?

My IQ is 142. I had to get it tested because my therapist reccomended it.
However, I believe that the whole IQ number thing is completely bogus. To be quite honest, I'm smart, but not THAT smart. I have to work hard for things, and I don't understand subjects like History and English without some work (I'm great at Math and Science though).
My brothers IQ is 108. Yet he has the ability to memorize HUNDREDS of piano and guitar songs. If I ask him to play something for me, he'll play it right away and most of the time flawlessly. I still don't know how to play Ode to Joy very well on the piano, and I'm not going into how bad I am at guitar. I have a friend who's IQ is less than average. She's a straight A student and can read people like a book. She's going to NYU next year.
My parents say that the reason I can't learn to play instruments well or get an A in History is because of my ADD. That because I'm 'gifted' with a high IQ, I'm some sort of genius that will understand things if I just put a little more effort into it. I don't believe that crap.
I believe that you can be a genius if you want to, even without a high IQ. xD

Hm, this is quite interesting.
I made this account just for the purpose of posting in this thread.
My IQ.... hm well i have no idea tbh. A few years ago or months it averaged around 130-140.. getting 180 in one test i decided to take another finding out it was 110 and then again, another one! 138 its just nonsense.
Intelligence cannot be determined by a few silly questions on a piece of paper or on a website.
My grandpa is a farmer, his IQ is probably below 100 but who do you think would do better on a farm? a Genious with 200 IQ or my grandpa with <100 IQ who spent 40 years working in farms?
Im 15, and because of countless years of being nicknamed "stupid" or "madman" by my classmates because i was different it went to my head and transformed me from the calm careless guy to a guy who easly gets irritated.
I think in the past few months my intellect has decaded because i play too many games.. even tho i find it silly .-.
im really bored so im off to play rusty hearts haha xD

They said I was 167.... but I have trouble in school maintaining A's in AP classes without studying.. I have trouble memorizing dates, but I have a photographic memory.. I can't dance for shit, but I am able in any athletic sport or competition.. I can't sing, but I can tell if someone's pitch is off or if an instrument is out of tune... Sigh, IQ doesn't really mean shit.

I have a near perfect memory. I almost never forget. This makes me a jack-of-all trades I guess. Even though I do master them all the first time.

I have an IQ measured at 127+
But I did an old IQ test from 1989 and I scored 169 being 95 an avarage college student.
131-145 fits my test as i got a 135. A good friend of mine scored higher but he is also legally retarded so one shouldn´t fly too high to the sun.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

I barely got 117, depression just killed my ability to think properly. I can't focus, and even when I can, my mind is just slow and foggy.
EDIT: And you people are all lying as shit. IQ distribution is a bell curve centered around 90-100, but almost everyone here is supposedly 120+, with 1/4 of folks here being in the top 0.15% lol.

This is weird, how can over a hundred people have an IQ of over the 145. Way to many people think that they are to smart... Or does reading manga make you so smart? 🤣

The only time I took an official IQ test, I received a 172. This was a long time ago, but I've come to believe I took the Cattell test, not the Stanford-Binet test, which means there was a standard deviation of 24 instead of 15. This means that my equivalent IQ by the Stanford-Binet scale should be 145. The reason I believe this is because a 172 on the Stanford-Binet test would put me in the top... 100 or so people in the entire nation, among all age groups. I'm definitely not that intelligent. But top 0.1% is believable.
Before someone calls bullshit, I'll note that I have since gotten two degrees from MIT and considered the school much easier than most of my peers (but certainly not all; there are some insane-level geniuses at MIT, including 2 I've met that I'd more than believe have a 172 or higher on the Stanford-Binet scale).

Either most of the members here are geniuses or the stupid people just ignored the whole thing 😀
I'm not the smartest fellow in the world, but I decided to answer this post nevertheless.
The truth is, I've never taken an official IQ test, (took some quick non-official once) and now I'm too afraid to find out, since the score would probably be under 75 ;P
I always experience a temporary brain-freeze when it comes to math, physics or ANYTHING related to numbers in any way (I can't even do sudoku, that's how bad I am) and I have Zoro-level sense of direction.
Luckily, I was given some artistic skills in exchange; I can draw, write, and sing, for example.
