100% Perfect Girl - There's two guys in this that fits this description, though it's more like pursuing/finding rather than hunting. (I actually like the second guy better. He's totally bad boy material, lol, but the first guy ain't bad either.) The chase is lighthearted at first. The later ones are more dramatic...

hm, maybe Evyione? Its a twist on the little mermaid tale. However here its the male who is a mermaid. It's not exactly on the fluffy side, but I think it only makes it better

Can you be more precise on the 'hunting' the girl? A bit like: male lead falls in love first?
