Warped character

Okay, I know the request sounds kinda weird, but I'm looking for mangas that have a warped character (it doesn't have to be the lead, but he's gotta be pretty important to the plot).
A perfect example would be Hot Blooded Woman (I mean, if Sin Uoo weren't twisted enough, look at Han Seo! I'd like a manga with a guy like him). Another example would be Shiva in Tokyo Crazy Paradise... guys who act evil but actually have a logic (mostly connected to love or traumas) behind it.
I'm not sure if I made myself very clear though. Anyway, it would also help a lot if the manga were complete (especially completely scanslated), and pretty long (not that I have anything against short manga, but I find that character development is a lot better in longer stories).
As for the genre, I'm not totally picky: I would prefer something along the lines of the two examples before (meaning romance, action, drama, comedy), but it's not a must.

I'll state beforehand that I haven't read Hot Blooded Woman, so I'm not sure if the recommendations below are what you're looking for.
Suzuka is the most warped, retarded, sickening bitch in manga. I think it's bullocks, but you may enjoy it, I dunno.
I think there are lots of shoujo manga with warped characters (mostly the male leads), but I don't read much shoujo, so I can't help you there.
BTW.... everyone in Homunculus is warped as hell. Good read, IMHO.
If you want a complete mindfuck, try Inio Asano's magnum opus, Nijigahara Holograph.... although I'm not sure if it's what your looking for.

The protagonist in Ai Kora is pretty warped as well.

P.S.... Sorry if I wasn't much help. I'm sure I've read many titles that are probably what you're looking for, but I always have trouble recalling them when asked. Guess I'm growing old/senile. 😀

Thanks gan. I seriously thinks that the story itself is warped, because of the characters. I think of stop reading it halfway but I manage to finish it.

Well many mentioned above arent actually the jovial romance-action-comedy kind and I can add some more sadistic ones like Shamo, Threads of time and Battle Royale. Never read GetBackers but one character in the anime who I am sure is in the manga also is Kuroda Akabane (might have got the name wrong) is one sadistic one too..one of the main characters Ban Midou might be warped also...HBW is a tough one to counter since its kinda top of its kind, one of Hwang Mi Ri's better ones if not the best...Oh! You can go through Life if you want, it has a new character during the last few chapters who was surprisingly warped for me...I saw the anime for Speed Grapher, Suitengu is my fave character who might be slightly warped, at least his underlings are and so is a female police officer...Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro is filled with warped characters not that the main character/namesake isnt one of them 😀

I'm really not sure if I understood it right... Could you plz tell me waht do u mean with "warped char"? Sorry, i'm not english native speaker...
If I understood it right, I'll suggest you Shin Angyo Onshi, male lead act sometimes good, sometimes bad and u can't really understand his actions until middle of the story. It's also in eng, full scan and pretty long (17 vol).

Ichi the Killer, is probably the most messed up manga I have ever read. Every character in that is twisted. Also gorey, but strangely comical.

If you want something more romance shoujo ish, Eternal Sabbath I suppose. I would recommend fruits basket, but I see you have read that.

Agreed. Out of all of the forms of media I have come across, Ichi the Killer is by far the most ****ed up in terms of characters and events that take place.
The primary antagonists of Urusawa Naoki's Monster and 20th Century Boys are pretty messed up people.

I don't really update my lists, so I was afraid I was going to get advised mangas I'd already read, but this was the case only for Death Note (great manga, by the way!).
I apologize again for not being very clear. What I meant by warped was, yes, pretty much
someone who's calculating, pragmatic, cold, Machiavellian? , as funkmu1 said. That sounds like a very good description.
I was hoping for a
jovial romance-action-comedy kind of manga with this topic (like Hot Blooded Woman), but I loved manga like the aforementioned Death Note, so I'm sure I'll really enjoy all your suggestions anyway.

Then I've to quote AX, Eternal Sabbath is a really great manga (and probably what u're looking for 😛 ), definitely a lot better imho than Death Note.

Completely agree.... Ichi the Killer is way too f*#ked up for its own good. Lucu Lucu and Ciguatera are pretty good as well.

the guy everyone loves acts innoncent but is totally different when not around people. its very comedic and has romance. has lots of lulz
