I'm looking for manga in which a girl is expressionless, but some guy actually got the hang of how her moods work and sees smiles/frowns/etc. where others see just a poker face.

An example of this would be :

• Yuki and Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya (Novel). Kyon is the only person who is able to tell if Yuki is happy/angry or whatever, for everyone else her face stays the same all the time.
• Metamo Layer Lv. 0 - pretty much the same, though the girl starts showing some emotions (even if just a little)

then the best one i can recommend is (i assume it can be a novel as well) Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Novel). there is a manga version, but it isnt very well done. no...it propably doesnt fit to what youre looking for. still, its pretty close. give it a try regardless...my judgement on this novel is clouded since i love this novel way too much 🙄

Ani ga Imouto de Imouto ga Ani de?

I don't know how much this can fit but in Kore wa Zombie desu ka? (of which I only saw the anime version) the heroine is both mute and emotionless and the main character has a sort of "delusion" every time she writes something for him (example, she writes: "Food" and he starts imagining her telling him "Onii-chan, please feed me... ~aaah!"). It's probably more a parody of what you asked but still.

I can think of other, but not with exactly emotionless heroine. Probably the closest one I can give you is Hekikai no AiON if I don't remember it wrong he was starting to understand her when I paused the manga. If it's not, sorry.

I think the heroine of Suki tte Ii na yo. was like this. I am not sure though.. I read it a long time ago but dropped it afterwards.
And Akuma to love song's heroine was pretty emotionless at start from what i remember. I am not sure again, try them. Akuma to lovesong was a good romance...

Hakomari (Novel) - the girl can recognize the guy through the changes in his facial muscles, that happens in the second volume though, but you won't regret reading the first one since it's awesome like that. And in following volumes, he's almost just at good at guessing how she's feeling.
Last Game (?) - but the guy's not that good at reading her, at least romance wise
