Description
From Tokyopop:
Shi-Hyun is a girl who has nothing but bad luck - at least, that's what everyone believes. In some ways, Shi-Hyun herself believes this and tries to stay away from the people she loves the most. As a result, she has developed an outer shell, making her look tough and indifferent even with the constantly bullying. But when she transfers to a different high school, a fresh start brings unfamiliar characters - and new challenges - into her life.

This actually got published?

I've never come across such a bad manhwa before. The story sounded interesting but . . . The artwork was terrible. It couldn't find a balance between pretty and comedy. The backgrounds were scare to the point where you wonder if the mangaka even put effort to makig the story more visually pleasing. The story. . . The first three chapters seemed interesting enough for me to overlook the bad art. But the more you read, the more you realise how little this story has to offer. There is very little haracter development, super slow plot and comedy moments which have been overdone so that you don't even laugh.

I read 12 chapters before I decided that was enough. I skipped all the way to the last three chapters and I barely missed much. That just tells you how worthless that was. How did this even get publishedconfused It's a disgrace! I've seen and read far better manhwas before. It's a shame cause if this was someone's first manhwa, they'd never pick up another manhwa again.

Save yourself the time and fun by NOT READING THIS!!

To put it generally (and harshly) this was just one big sob story. The protagonist's anguish wasn't demonstrated well, it was trying to pull sympathy out of nothing and that really put me off. The romance didn't work either, mainly because of the awkward pacing; it was all very poorly articulated and it jumped around alot.Characters seemed also to change personalities sporadically, to explain: their motives and opinions didn't match the personalities given to them.

Art is average, overall a manga that was just poorly planned out.

I liked the start of the manga but the romance when it got closer to the end were just bad. The ending was horrible and while I do feel for her having alot of misfortune, it just wasn't dark enough. I think it would have been more convicing with an attempted suicide for example.
I found the storyline lacking, the art isn't the best but compared to the story I think it's acceptable.

Very rushed ending

I really do like this manga, and have reread it several times. Though some parts of it seem to be rushed and of course unrealistic. The worst aspect of the manga is the ending.

Overall the story is one of my favorites because it is both original and touching. Now while I admit that there is a lot of stuff in the manga that seems to be cookie cutter type storytelling, the main lead had a rather original style for a shoujo manga. I recently came across another manga that has a girl that I could say is somewhat similar in the story Fallen Angels.

The romance aspect does not seem to mesh quite right. It is not a natural progression romance that the good stories usually have.

And of course the ending, one chapter attempting to tie up all the plot lines in an instant. While I do not dislike the ending I think that it should have been much more fleshed out and a more natural progression towards that end. The story really did need another full volume to make it not seem rushed the way it was.

It's different

I've read the comments here and I have to say that I'm not really that surprised. This series is not very popular nor does it bring something new into the manhwa/manga world, but to me it's probably one of my favorites. The reason behind that is the fact that it's different in many ways and I was quite surprised by that. I usually read shoujo-manga(and manhwa), although I can barely stand it because all the girls are plain annoying and stupid and the boys are just dominant sadists, and I was half expecting something like that from this manhwa but it's not what I got. The story is unusually usual and actionless(yes, I am aware that isn't a word) but there is something about it that I find very attractive. The art is nice, although not very usual for a manhwa, and in the beginning it made me think that it was manga artwork, not manhwa, and very fit for the story. And what I meant by understanding the other negative comments is that this really isn't a manga for everyone. People who usually like the fuzzy pointless sweet yet shallow manga and manhwa stories(I read them too but I detest them) will not like this one because it's different. But if you're a person who likes different you might like it(again, it depends on what kind of different you like). For me, it is one of the most original ones out there, not for the plot itself nor the artwork, but for the small details which made me smile because they are so realistic and so far from cliche even though they are very close. I don't know how to explain it properly so just read it and find out for yourself. I downloaded it from Mangatraders.com and the scans were good. Good luck! ^^

I don't know if the scanned pages were missing or not in order, but it wasn't worth the read. The plot was okay but the development was truly lacking and had to many gaps. Artwork was okay, nothing too exciting. Basically there is better stuff out there!

.. catch your heart when you are reading. Main girls anguish is not properly conceived through the series you always feel something is missing. Art can also be better not that it will hurt your eyes. also the ending is somewhat soft. all in all if you are a shoujo fun read this one if you have time. there is not one special feature i can claim the series have but it is also not bad.

People didn't seem to like this series too much, which surprises me, because it didn't seem particularly bad. The main couples' relationship didn't quite click, and doesn't quite have the level of angst and romantic encounters that shoujo/romance fans might enjoy, but the series overall was interesting and fun to read; I've read it three times now.

Not very good. I read it, but yeah...
It wasn't really to my taste. The girl wasn't very pretty (while that wouldn't normally matter, it does when everyone is exclaiming how pretty she is). The plot didn't really exist, and the peoples' personalities never quite matched, changing irratically.
There were some funny parts though, and some of the art looked nice. I wouldn't suggest people read it, but if someone is extremely bored, really really bored, they can pick it up. There is no fuzzy warmness after reading, just a bland taste aftertaste.
