I can't stand rap. To me, there is nothing worth listening to that kind of "music". It's like there is no music at all and as I don't pay attention to lyrics, it's moot point.

Well, sometimes raps underground are just underground because they are terribly bad and nobody except few gives a damn. I like 7l and esoteric, mainly because they are batshit crazy and funny. Not sure if this goes into peoples "GOOD RAP" category, but whatever. It really is a stupid thread, you do realise that preferences in music is something very subjective right? The needed criterias for comparing music doesn't exist, sorry.

But maybe someone in the future will bring forth a terrific scientific formula with these criterias of great universality that can sort the bad music from the good.. then there really will be GOOD RAP. But for now there can only be RAP.

They'd climb a mountain, find a tree, carve a hole in it, whisper the secret into the hole and cover it up with mud. That way, nobody else would ever learn the secret...

I think Gany does listen to music. Look, one man's trash is another's treasure. Gany said he likes music, implying instrumental rather than lyrical. And rap is primarily lyrics, so there, he/she doesn't prefer it.

I listen to some, but the majority of rap I hear on radio stations concern thuggin' (or how to try to be), bangin' chicks like meatholes with no souls, gettin munny, and sippin' [insert favorite expensive alcoholic drink here]. Can you blame me if I don't like it that much?
