I'm just seeing this recently but it bugs the CRAP outta me.
Subject line: "I want a manga to read" (Or some form of this)

YOU'RE ON A MANGA WEBSITE AND YOU'RE IN THE SUGGESTION FORUM!
And there is no way of stopping it because the people that do it, it's their first to fifth post.
UGH. Makes me want to put my head against a wall.
ALWAYS WRITE A SPECIFIC SUBJECT LINE
Say "Please identify this Manga" "I need to know the name of this manga" "I forgot the name..."
Or just put the subject you want "Teacher x student" "Loving girlfriend" "Adventure with female lead"

Quote from stubborn blob
@"Oh, I've read that already." problem
Someone else may be also interested in that request.
Yeah, someone else might want to read it, but I'm really there for those that do not post in the thread (someone that does not bump it for more requests). I suggest for those that make an attempt to communicate, because I know I'm talking to them.
I take each thread as a personal communication between each person that posts. Now, you don't have to say "hi", "bye", or even "thank you" but to leave out important information and then say "I've read that already" is a slap in the face. It's fairly annoying.

Oh! I though of another one.
When the person asking for help INSULTS the people who were just trying to help them.
Here are some anonymous examples.... this really bugs the crap outta me.
Not that, you twit!
For the other manga I HATE them all.
I mean seriously. Way to bite the helping hand.

Feedback. How am I to know if we understood your request right, or whether you've already read them or not (in the case of those that don't use this site's manga progress database).
Even more importantly, I just like to know if I wasted time researching, or if it truly benefited the person.

for me its a combination of things. i think people have already said what am gonna say now but I need to rant so I am gonna say
-
People just simply saying "something like {manga title}" and thats it, nothing else. They are just assuming that everyone has read it. I don't mind if they are looking for something similar but atleast bother to type out what that manga is about and even better say which characters you liked in that manga, or the specific situation in that manga so that i can properly help you out.
-
people not making their lists public and so when i suggest mangas to them, they say oh i have already read that. What a waste of time. If you don't make your list public(i don't) atleast put on that thread the mangas that you have already read that people might suggest again because they think its what you are looking for.

Feedback, becasue people should appreciate someone's help. Its just good manners really. Though i don't really mind if there is no feedback but it would be nice.

When people say stuff like" i want shounen manga where the dude gets some power". This is something that happens in almost every shounen manga so how about searching for them and not being lazy. I would much prefer specific requests than general. Because the ones who's request are general tends to be the ones who are too lazy to search.

Also people who suggest mangas that the OP has already read and clearly stated that he has read that in his post. Just recently i saw one where OP asked for a really funny action comedy and said he has read Beezlebub and the next post was from this dude who said "Beezlebub--this is very funny". God atleast read the opz post before suggesting.

Also when I ask for something, am quite specific(not too much) because usually i always try searching for it myself before asking for help. It is quite annoying, when someone makes a siggestion in my thread and so its awesome and all that. Then next day, another dude seconds that manga and makes no suggestions of his own. Yup fine with me, its just reassuring me that this manga will be worth my time. Then soon after another person comes, makes no suggestions of his own and "thirds the first manga suggestion" and sometimes there are people who "fourthzz" or whatever you call it the very first manga suggestion without making suggestions of their own. Now thats annoying because I Get It. Its good so stop filling up my thread with useless posts.
Anyways the "I am looking for section" is pretty awesome though, it just has a few problems but thats alg with me, well sort of...
