Seinen Romance... who can beat Mori Kaoru? Her works are mostly historical and romance type. I'm not so sure about historical accuracy but the art work and plot are A+

I have to say I haven't read a lot of seinin manga, but out of those i have read i like Gantz, Berserk, Kurozuka, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Bitter Virgin

All of these have romance elements, though by far Kurozuka is my favorite among these, i am surprised no one mentioned this epic manga till now.

I was browsing this thread hoping to find a few new picks (I love romance/anything else with the romance manga, and yes I'm a straight dude). I was getting worried that the most epic and amazing love story ever hadn't shown up yet lol.

Huzzah. If you are looking for the best (in my opinion) seinen romance then look no further than Maison Ikkoku my favorite manga of all time. It's one of those few and far between mangas that leave you acutely aching for more when you reach the end.
