Solanin came out recently (or at least my copy shipped a couple days ago), and that's definitely worth it.
Monster, Planetes, Lament of the Lamb, Mushishi, Gunslinger Girl, Real, Hoshi no Koe, etc. etc.
I could go on for a long time, really, but I have no idea what your tastes are. Those are just some that fall within mine.

Reviews of my Work:

Congratulations! Ur an asshole! - tokyo_homi
**Your awesome!!! **- Cherelle_Ashley
NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

A bit of shoujo and drama, fantasy, action, supernatural, romance just not sci fi cuz it bores me to the point where I don't understand anything I'm reading anymore.

Specifics/public lists/descriptions of titles you already have would help, 'cause there's a lot of decent manga available in English. (If you shop at amazon, I've found their rec's to be pretty decent.)
Forest of Gray City is a solid romance/drama
Dolis is high tension psychological drama and you can find it dirt cheap.
A bit of shoujo and drama, fantasy, action, supernatural, romance
HINO Matsuri's stuff is licensed (she wrote Meru Puri and Vampire Knight) and she puts tons of great intricate detail that sometimes gets lost in scans and she fits all your criteria. So does just about everything CLAMP's ever written, and most of it is also available in English.
A lot of the better shoujo manga are also licensed:
Hana Yori Dango, Hot Gimmick, Ouran High School Host Club, and Special A are worth picking up, if only because the scans aren't that great
Lovely Complex and Koukou Debut are really low key and sweet, making them good reread fluff,
I can name a dozen others, but are you mostly looking for recent releases?
There are also some good OEL's floating around if that's your speed

We can't make any proper suggestions unless you tell us what type of manga you enjoy, sorry. I could recommend you something like depressing slice-of-life stories such as Abandon the Old In Tokyo, and you might only like much more light-hearted stuff.

I don't even know what kind of genre or taste you want in manga to buy.... Might as well buy Doraemon...
