Alright, another cool tattoo I might like to have is a strange ocean scene. On my front would be an 18th century whaling boat above the water, and a sperm whale below. On my back would be a giant squid, with three tentacles extending onto my left arm, two going onto the front and wrapping around the whaling boat, and the other three arms and two tentacles filling in the rest of my back and defending against the sperm whale, whose head is spilling over onto my back and attacking the squid. On the front around my shoulders a storm will be brewing, and where the ocean meets the sea the waters will be choppy.

So you would like a full body tattoo, I would like maybe a japanese mountain scene on my back, with those high mountains and a temple on one of them and a river and village below them but it would just be on my back

my thats quite elaborate... I would probably like something small and simple just to have the experience (who knows what that would be but it definitely wouldn't be a butterfly)

I'm quite reluctant to mark my body ,I have the feeling that most of the people are a bit too reckless about this , they just take one because it's cool... The shame is eventually they don't find it so cool and they want an other . But it's not a dress or a pair of shoes . Even if you can remove it through a very painful and expensive process it's definetely not something that is disposable.

(not quoting the pic again) but....it's...amazing...although it would've looked better if it was a bit more upwards, a bit more narrow and follow the spine.
And the top-left part of the "sword" thingy is a bit too large. Be careful when making the tattoo 😛

I've been deliberating getting a tattoo for so long. On one side, it's a legitimate form of self-expression and also a way of expressing one's individuality. On the other, I keep on thinking "this thing will be marked in my body forever." What happens if I get one, then one day, after a few years, I decide that I hate it? People's preferences always change even sometimes when you think it never will. Anyway I'm still deliberating. I'm not planning to get any in the near future.

If I do get one, I'd love to have a tattoo of wings on my back. 🙂

If done well, that tattoo would be pretty nice. With color inks it might even be classy.

If I wanted a necklace I wouldn't be thinking of a tattoo would I? I'd really like how it would look as if imprimed into the skin, that's why a tattoo would be better 😛

It's cool and all, but what exactly am I looking at here? Also, what's the tattoo's meaning?

It's a mullekamp reversed cross : in Vagrant Story it's formerly a symbol of being an heretic ...(A bit like the "fleur de lys" in france with the witches in old times) . But eventually it becomes a symbol of election for dark powers. This is the "blood sin" as it was made on the body of the heretics by applying a burning iron.

Well i quite like the symbolic but as it's a game I don't focus that much on the symbolic... It's just very aesthetic, very balanced and it fits the form of the back by pointing out bones (collarbone , coccys,etc...) and following strenght lines .

No ones mentioned this before but how much does an average tattoo cost, and does it depend on the largeness of the image, or the more ink so more the cost??
Does it even vary from town to town??
