?...Does anyone remember that scene were Orochimaru asked Sasuke why he didn't kill that one army of ninjas and just sorta wounded/knocked them out? And Sasuke replied with something... Maybe Sasuke's just using that "mind" of his he always had throughout the pre-time skip era. A set-up got Akatsuki maybe? Perhaps? Don't forget that flashback Sasuke had of Team 7 (Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi).

I was thinking the samething. Why have that flashbask about your old squad if you plan on killing everyone in Konoha. 😕

past flashback suggest taht Sasuke, now relaize the importance of friends and the need to protect them, but his friends right now are only his current teammates, unless he is tricking the trickster(Madera) himself .

I'm just really disappointed... Sasuke was my favorite character in the manga. I was totally agreed with him when he said that he was going to kill the elders.

But now he is saying he is going to kill all konoha .... ha give me a break I think that Sasuke is much more stupid than before. Maybe that was the reason of Itachi's secret.

I've lost most of my respect for Kishimoto. Kinda late, but I just got home and saw that naruto was released(absolutely forgot about it).

Well let's say....good to see Naruto, I really thought it was the yondaime at the beginning.
And yes, Sasuke was being an asshole, but I still blame kishimoto! >:3 I'm gonna be like makaveli and give him a good ol' slap and a kick to the balls to go with it!

if only that was the case, but Sasuke's not the type to forgo revenge and considering his personality and way of thinking. what he said seems like something he'd completely go through with. after all he loves his clan more than anything else, and if one of the founders hated Senju that much it's likely he'll feel the same.i also find it ironic that he said he is doing it for Itachi, when Itachi still no matter how you look at did what he did for the peace of the village. from some standpoints it can be seen as him still trying to get revenge on Itachi, be destroying what he protected.

I don't think Naruto will die in the battle against Sasuke. While I do think that Naruto is likely to die in the end, I think it will be sacrificing himself for Konoha and not trying to save a "friend". I want the last chapter to be the one where Naruto dies, as a hero, as a Hokage, and not just sacrificing himself for a fool that doesn't know anything but revenge.
