well im asuming Sasuke v. Naruto will be the last fight...thts why i say Naruto will die after the fight
I hope it won't be that way. Seriously, what is with all the "become Hokage" if he doesn't get to be Hokage? Jiraiya didn't die in the hands of Orochimaru, and so I want to believe Naruto won't die in the hands of Sasuke. Maybe it's just a wish, but come on, if that happens, what is the point of the manga being "Naruto"?

I kinda feel that the last battle would be an all out battle between all the tailed beasts and all the ninjas(who eventually team up because they'll lose and die if they didn't)...at least that's what I hope...
♪MONSTARR~ will eat all your cookies and steal your bishies~♪ Φ_Φ
Well, somehow things seem to be shaping up towards a grand finale of sorts...
Final all out battle and maybe the end of Naruto in 50-100 chapters?
Not that the end of Naruto means permanently.... but its almost been 10 years now, since Naruto was started.

I hope it ends soon. D:
In the future, if the series is still running even after I turn 21; I'd probably swear a hell lot and curse myself on how much time I've wasted. It'll be 10 years of my daylight down the drain. I should probably get started.

Great chapter. Sasuke is back to being one of my favorites. Maybe its because i'm a vengeful person myself, but I really like him as a character. I fully believe in if someone hits you, you hit them back in a way that they'll never even think about hitting you again.
I hope he rains hell on Konoha for what they did.
Plus we got a little bit of background info on my favorite character, Orochimaru.

you spent a whole lot of time defending him too in the last topic on how he wasn't a bad guy. "raining hell" on Konoha for immature reasoning like his, how can he not be a bad guy.....

Look man, the two of us have a core difference in how we view revenge so we will never be able to agree. I think revenge is totally ok, you think its bad no matter what.
I still don't think he's a bad guy. Orochimaru seems like a guy who attacked Konoha for no real reason. Thats a bad guy to me: someone who attacks people unprovoked. Sasuke has a perfectly valid reason: they killed his entire family and village. I think you trivialize the act of losing your entire family and everyone like you. If it happened to you I'm pretty sure you'd be nowhere near as calm and willing to just let it go as you suggest Sasuke should be.
Had Konoha never ordered them killed, they wouldn't be in the situation to have hell rained upon them. Thats what makes it "fair". They basically "hit" Sasuke and like i've said, I don't see anything wrong with him hitting them back to a degree where they'll never consider hitting him again and will likely think twice about hitting anyone else.
But different strokes for different folks.

Itachi killed his family. And Konoha didn't order them killed They're eladers did. Are you saying you think innocent people deserve to die from something they never even knew about? Fair my ass.

it's not a matter of viewing whether revenge is bad or good. it's a matter of rationalizing it. in Sasuke's case it's the later. he's putting the whole village in his list based on the decisions of 3 people only. what makes him a bad guy is his willingness to allow collateral damage to innocent people just cause they appreciated their founder. i wouldn't understand Sasuke's way of thinking cause it's so flawed. no matter what trauma i suffer i wouldn't let myself make stupid, selfish decisions like he is. again it wasn't Konoha making the order just those three. one militant and two advisers did. and it seems it wasn't based on nothing, they felt the Uchiha were going to turn on the village. honestly considering how low their power was dwindling i can't say it was a shock that they would. but for him to put the whole village in with them for his own tragedy just shows how much of a bad guy he is.

I agree with some of the things Mr. SickVisions said(and yey, i'm not the only one who doesn't hate sasuke), although I don't think he should kill the whole village. Kill those three elders that made that stupid damn decision in the first place, I even want to see those 3 people dead. Sasuke's not an "evil" guy, he's been scarred as a child, you can't expect him to be some happy chippy kid down the block, can you?

Well, it might be a plot device, I mean good friends, almost brothers, but then they go through separate ways. Both with tragic past, one would give his life to save his hometown even if he was despised for having a beast inside, and the other one would kill everyone on his hometown to get revenge. While Sasuke's past could be viewed as tragic, I don't see how it was worse than some other characters' past, like Gaara, Neji, or maybe even Naruto and Kakashi.

Well as for Gaara, his was definitely sad, Neji's was just unfortunate, he was born into it, and I don't doubt there were more like him in the Hyuuga clan. I don't really see Kakashi's past being that sad other than the thing about Obito. As for Naruto, he didn't grow up with a huge deep hatred in his heart because well, he didn't really lose anyone, so he doesn't really know that same feeling that Sasuke did, he mostly felt loneliness and isolation, but not to the extent that Gaara felt.

exactly, they've all had some pretty bad pasts but they've all learned that the world itself isn't their enemy. Sasuke's reasons for revenge are, like he said himself even in this chapter (though not in exact words), childish and overly emotional.

Kakashi's past haven't been shown that much but his "They are all dead" when he talks about the people close to him is quite sad, you can't deny that.
As for Naruto, living that way all your childhood is hell by itself. He did get to meet good people like Iruka sensei, but so did Sasuke too.

Yeah, basically that, and that doesn't speak well of him.
