Ace is one of Monkey D. Dragon's sons, as well. This is confirmed in the Gaol when Ace is talking to Garp about why he took his mother's name.

This signature was recovered from Hades to serve in my rotting armies.

I liked how Luffy said that Dragon was his father and then Ivankov said two whole sentences before he realized what Luffy just said. The reaction to that was priceless. 🤣

So Ivankov and Inazuma are gonna help Luffy with rescuing Ace...awesome.

I think Iva's "Winks" will be useful while fighting against Magellan: theyre a ranged attack, a great option to avoid contact with his poisons!
Besides, taking 1 week for gathering material? Sounds really cool! What kind of material will the mangaka need? Im very curious! :3

"Gathering material" is a euphemism for taking a week off to do planning and the like. Possibly could mean getting more screen tones or whatever, but that's what assistants are for.

ace's real name is monkey d. ace. he took the name of portgas after renouncing his father (monkey d. dragon). they are definitely bros

Yeah!! It really was great!! The only thing that i hate about this chapter was the little note at the end of the chapter saying: "One piece will be taking a break so that the author could collect data". But aside from that, it was goooood!! 😃
