'd bet that Raftel is only "open" once a blue moon or something(i.e. only one crew can land every 50 years or something), and the only reason Whitebeard hasn't gone is that when it was open, GolD Roger beat him and went to it, and now Whitebeard's too old and sickly for him to win his way in. So he's just keeping balance in the world for the future. It would be interesting to see if Luffy has to likewise beat Shanks to get into Raftel. but now I'm just rambling and thinking off the top of my head. That's what happens when there's no One Piece, we start thinking wild thoughts.
Interesting!!!! I like this! 😲 Maybe you're right, there could only be one crew/man who can reach Raftel.
It also makes me wonder if how much do Shanks and Buggy know about onepiece since they were both on one of Roger's ship. Rayleigh seems to know about it but I'm just wondering about Buggy.
-
He has the Grandline map which was then stolen by Nami (shown in the earlier volumes)
-
In vol. 25, he mentioned bout seeing Whitebeard before. Whitebeard even mentioned bout remembering seeing Buggy before. (which could indicate how far Buggy had gone through a lot of Roger's battles..although it is unclear if he saw Whitebeard in the battles in Grandline or the New world)
-
his relationship with Shanks, Rayleigh (on flashback) and Roger
-
his interests in looking for John's treasure, I wonder if it's related to any of this. Although it seems that Luffy have encountered John's zombie and treasure in Thriller bark..
5)Buggy has mentioned that he wanted to be the 'Pirate king' and own all treasures in the world
- Buggy is arguably weak when compared to other notable crews in Roger's ship but still, survived after Roger ended his voyage.
All that I'm saying here is.. eventhough he used to be in Roger's crew, BUT for some msyterious reasons, he doesnt really know what 'Onepiece' Really is! O__O
Onepiece Is definitely not an imaginary or an abstract thing unless if Buggy and shanks don't know what Roger's 'onepiece' is.. And as Sijy had said in his/her post, there's a possibility that only a few people or just ONE person can get access to Raftel. (IF Buggy and shanks are in one of Roger's crew who is close enough to get Raftel, as we know, Roger did disband his crews one by one before his death..and it is not known how far they both travelled in Roger's crew.)..still, it is a possibility.
In other news, last week's anime episode was awesome with Luffy punching the tenrubito Charles. Hell breaks loose in the next episode!
I knoww!! >w</// IT'S AWESOME!!1 And the NEW OPENING IS EPIC TOO!! HANCOCK DONOOOooo!!!1111 🤢 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤢 🤢 😀 🤣 🤢 🤢

Since here is a discussion about the Grand Line, I've got something that's bothering me for a while:
How do pirates return from the Grand Line?
I mean, Don Krieg, Arlong and even Shanks did, right?
Reverse Mountain is just a one way "street" and I don't think they went through the Calm Belt, since there's no wind at all.
So how did they do that?

There's two reverse mountain in Grandline, the other one is the Redline that Luffy recently seen, Robin and Franky mentioned bout entering Grandline from South Blue from this entrance. The other one is the redline where Luffy first entered Grandline.
Since here is a discussion about the Grand Line,
dunno..it..just happened. I guess it's to make up for the no-chapter-this week issue 🤢

Ha?
I thought Marie Joa (and directly under it, Fishman Island) is on top of the Red Line?
Like that

no wait! maybe Franky and Robin were refering to the Reverse mountain on the other side of grandline. but still, it amazes me how both of them can get so far from the entrance

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

Yeah I found the source, seem like there's just mostly talking in this chapter probably wont see any major action for another 1-2 chapters.
@robbit - No, no change of balls, there just in a vice grip! And yes Ace is too awesome to die!
