I was watching this video when I tough how interesting an invincible but unbearable character could be...

So here is what I would love to read, some character (preferably a side-character) with tremendous power (could be unspecific and just ass-pull victory in any situation) but a terrible personality.

It would be cool if he were to show up from time to time, and the main cast would be just wishing he to go away already, but could do nothing against him, so tried not to anger him.

Want i don't want:
The character being defeated easily later on
The character to been too dangerous, i don't want an antagonist, just a comedic character
Yaoi.
Anime, any other media is fine but i don't watch anime, doesn't matter how good.

The first thing of thought of was Hibari from Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! . He seems to match that description pretty well ^^

Thanks a lot for responding, but I had read Reborn!, also I was looking for "really invincible" and "annoying prick", Hibari on the other hand is really strong but is defeated more than once on the manga, he is also just obsessed with his way of doing things and was tuned down quite a lot on that too because of his massive popularity with the fans.

To be clear I want someone who could be said to be too Over powered, and not a main character if possible

This is probably extremely unhelpful but I immediately thought of Soul Eater 's Excalibur.
Why is this unhelpful? 1. I wouldn't call him a secondary character but rather a tertiary one. 2. He gets no fighting sequences (as far as I've seen in the anime). However, he is the legendary sword (albeit a very annoying one). You should still see Soul Eater though, it's pretty good.

There's also Cross Marian from D.Gray-Man who also doesn't get a lot of screen time, but hey, he's unbearable and also extremely powerful.

Actually Excalibur, specially that chapter with Hiro was exactly what I was looking for, but I had read that. Also, I'm waiting for D. gray-man to come out of Hiatus, but Cross doesn't fit because he is actually pretty cool and liked by a lot of people

neither are side characters but i think Harumichi from Crows and Mitsuhashi from Kyou kara Ore wa!! fit (only off point is they are both MC's)

well harumichi does get beaten twice from rindaman in crows, yep you should check crows out anyway since rindaman is considered invincible, but he isn't a prick.

also check worst, Guriko is laid back and only chases after girls, but he is strongest in town (well if harumichi or rindaman is there i think they will win) he is side char.

Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru - Ryuuji is super strong, and isn't the lead, the lead gets strong tho

Hajime no Ippo - Takamura is super strong too, kinda reminds me of Ryuuji from Minoru, except Takamura is more a perv. Anyway he is strong and I think he never lost. He is kind of a dick but really funny

The old Master Happosai from Ranma 1/2, well he does get beaten, but hes the most annoying charakter in Ranma

I'm surprised no one mentioning Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. 🤨

I'm reading them all, Goomanryu works, specially in New Waves where he doesn't have much protagonist. Aiki is excellent, I'm waiting for more chapters of the new sequel.

Issoka (not sure if that's how it's spelled) is perfect, specially at the beginning when he was pretty much invincible, and there are several characters that fit in general on the manga, but I read HunterxHunter

Kamisama no Iutori is good, but Kamisama is the main antagonist, so it's not exactly what i want, I'm waiting for more chapters of the sequel of this manga too, but I was a bit disappointed of how the first part ended (they better fix it on the sequel man!)

I haven't read Dice, Is it good? also, what character are you talking about?
