pirate1019... you confuse me. i see nothing in ur post that pisses me off. perhaps you're referencing to the fact that you do not share the same tastes in manga, or my attitude to life and love? that is fine, i enjoy knowing many people because of their uniqueness, as no one is completely alike with someone else. well, since you asked me too, i will indeed always read ur posts twice to make sure what kind of jokes you are trying to play. Please note though: you may find it a challenge to "piss me off", as i am usually always in a happy mood. There wasn't anything particularly insulting or worthy of being read over again in that post, but you can never get enough practice. Just wait, eventually it'll happen. I'm bad at recognizing which of my jokes will 'work' over the world-wide-webbernets, and you'll take something I meant as sarcasm as a serious comment.

P.S. My comment about having something in common was a joke that I didn't expect anybody to get. I am an unbelievably cynical and pessimistic person, so your outlook on life is the 180 opposite of mine. I don't believe in true love or morality, nor do I have any faith in humanity. Pretty much the only thing we have in common is that we act like straight-edge kids (no drinking, smoking, drugs, or casual boinking*).

@ heywhatsthat, kool another trigun fan. Since Trigun is basically what got me into manga and anime (even though my tastes have changed more toward romance), i saw it as perfection at first. I was surprised to go to a site and not see it as a #1 choice for everyone at first... well, it was basically the only thing i knew other than Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Pilot Candidate (basically all the old Cartoon Network shows), and i thought that all were like action like those. Well, i am happy that i was wrong about that, because there is such a huge selection that you are guaranteed to find a manga on ANYTHING now. Still love Trigun though... 😀 (and thanks for the warning, i never liked that kind of stuff.)

Hello! It's nice to meet you! I'd reccomend some manga but it would probably be mostly shoujo-ai/yuri and shounen-ai/yaoi.
Yami no Matsuei is my all time favourite but I was very disappointed with the US translation. It says it's shounen-ai, but it really isn't. I wish...
Other than that I'd try Suikoden III great adaptation of the game.

thank you, but i said that i want you to recommend any manga you liked, no matter whether or not u think id like it. If you took the time to write it down b/c you liked it enuff to refer it, than i would at least take the time to read a chapter. its the least i could do, right? 😀 anyways, ill be sure to check those manga out, thanks for your help!

In that case then I adore the artist Naono Bohra. She does mostly yaoi, but she did a fantasy series too. Her artwork is just gorgeous, she is my favourite mangaka.

On the other end of the art spectrum I really enjoy MINAMI Q-ta sadly people seem to translate only her shoujo-ai. Which I adore, but I wish they would scan all her works, the art is a little raw but I still find it beautiful.

If you are looking for fantastic art and stories then check out YUMEKA Sumomo who also goes by the name SAHARA Mizu so you will have to check both names for all of her works. My favourite was the short two part story called Kokoro Kikai it's only two chapters long so it won't take up much of your time.

For manga itself I would recommend Koori no mamono no monogatari also know as The Ice Cold Demon's Tale. The Wallflower which is about a socially troubled girl. If you are more for action with fascinating characters and don't mind older art then read Banana Fish

I know that Wallflower and Banana Fish are licensed and are being published. As for the others I know a few works from Yumeka Sumomo are as well, beyond that I am unsure.
