Well I'm not sure there isn't a topic like this somewhere, but if there is I haven't found it...

I'm kind of wondering, seeing as to how Naruto only seems to have some 100 more chapters in it, which manga(s) do you think will rise to replace it the most or one of the most popular...

Personally i consider Psyren a good choice and maybe Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! and Kekkaishi as well will get some more notoriety...

I think Beelzebub will potentially be a popular shounen but nothing can beat to the Greatness of ONEPIECE. Oda is on par with Akira but I dont think anyone is worthy enough to stand as equals like these two. 😐

Claymore and Gantz are special in their own ways.

I am hoping Black God will. It's a shounen/seinen that is just abnormally super amazing. I personally would also love to see Jack Frost rise to fame and glory

Gantz (amazing) is sadly coming to an end, and I don't know if Calymore is too (I really hope not).

Both Beelzebu and Black God look cool (i actually had that last one in my wish list and forgot). Going to start reading that second one and wait for a few more chapters on Beelzebu 🙂

Heh...I thought the topic was about the possibility of a not-yet-released manga to take over...

I doubt any of the currently running series will take over The Big Three (One piece, Bleach, Naruto) unless they survive long enough till at least one of them ends...and by the looks of it, they won't end any time soon so... :\ (One piece alone is over 10 years old)
I mean, yeah, each of the series mentioned in this thread is well deserved of their popularity, but I just don't see them being the successor to The Big Three >_>

Although, I would like to see Fairy Tail to be as awesome as One piece...

Good question. I think D.Gray-Man is the best (and most worthy) candidate. Beelzebub would be my personal preference, although I think that there are series that I have been running longer, like Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, that might have a leg up.

beelzebub might get cancelled....i mean the last 3 chapters were kinda boring...not so good like the beginning...

it has alot of support in japan and one of the best rated airing mangas
and fyi its by one of the biggest manga publishers.
my opinion it wont get cancelled i love every second of it.

but the last few chapter didn't make me laugh as much as the earlier chapters...it should just stick to the comedy...not romance or anything like that...i don't think it will become some supernatural, action with power ups...that's why its unworthy as successor...but still a great manga
