So anyone want to go indepth with me?

  • Zealots with charge means they're probably removing their speed upgrades, right?
  • Corsairs have been replaced by the Phoenix (?) that have the Overload ability.
  • Thank god there are no hero units like in WC3!

what do you mean there no hero unit? There alway been hero unit even in the original Starcraft. From what Blizzard have shown or announce, we as the gamer can only Speculate what unit might not come back from Starcraft 1, but we do know Dragoon (*protoss unit) is gone.

Hostile said there would be no hero units like in WarCraft3. If you've played WC3, then you would remember all the special abilities, special stats, and regenerating health.

Do we really know if the dragoons are gone? We just know that they weren't shown in the demo video, but a ton of other units weren't shown in that either, so by your assumption, all those other units are gone too?

Really; dragoon really is not going show up in starcraft 2

under the unit Immortal (*protoss new unit)
Read the story about it, all the Immortal are all former dragoon unit

No hero units huh... >_> So we are the ones commanding and the units will obey minus the heros = dunno if the game would be really that good

SC had no hero units and it's one of the best RTS games ever. Heroes just don't fit with the whole fast-paced gameplay concept of both StarCraft II and it's predecessor.

On the other hand, WCIII managed to be very innovative with all the hero stuff and all, while SCII doesn't seem to offer any revolutionary additions to standard RTS gameplay. And I don't even know whether those innovations are even needed here. Koreans don't need innovations, right?

I would rather Blizzard delay, than come out with a sub-par product. They are totally different from EA in that aspect.
