Anime: Sailor Moon, along with Dragon ball. I remember when they used to be airing on TV and I would get hooked for like two hours watching new and old episodes. Must've been what...6-7 years old maybe?

Manga: A hard one, I think it was Time Stranger Kyoko by Arina Tanemura. Not that famous, only 3 volumes I think, but God knows how much I loved those books. I would re-read them over and over again before I went to sleep lol.

First manga: Candy Candy, in 2004 - my mum had some of the manga that had been serialised in comic magazines in France when she was in her twenties, and she let me read through them when I was little.

First anime: Pokémon, in 1999 or 2000? It was when CITV first started airing it, and I remember watching it and loving it to pieces. I'm not sure if it was my first, though, because I used to watch Cardcaptor Sakura (or "Cardcaptors" as it was released in England), as well the episodes of Candy Candy, Ulysses 31 and Captain Harlock my mum had recorded on VHS ... I used to watch them all around the same time, so I don't really remember.

She used to tell me she was always hated by everyone because she watched anime when she was young. I can't imagine a world like that.

"First" Anime was Dragon Ball, but if we consider when I actually had an appreciation for Anime, then my first would be Gundam Seed.

First Manga was Black Cat.

Manga: Mars
Anime: X

It's about 10 years ago, when I discovered (along with a fast internet connection at home) the world of manga and anime with these two masterpieces. Since then I completed almost 300 manga series. Animes aren't this much, I think less then 25.

I found Pokemon and Digimon somewhere around the age of six (like most of us) but before that I had watched Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (which I still love)
My first "real" manga (meaning not a cinemanga or manga-styled comic) was Time Stranger Kyoko which I started reading in 2005 (it was the first shoujo manga ever published in my country btw)
So this hobby of mine started roughly ten years ago.

Manga... might be Ouke no Monshou, was recommended by my mom. Apparently from her high school years they passed the manga around the class to read. If it's not my first it'll be one of the earliest. Earliest would be a manhwa though I believe, Bride of the Water God.

As for anime... um... o.O I dunno? I watched dozens during that time on TV. After all, my ban on them was finally lifted after what? 11 years? Yea, I didn't get to watch any until around grade 5. They only let me watch stuff like Franklin and for some reason, movies. = =;; It's weird, movies are much more violet than anime. So it can be just about anything, from Pokemon to Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch to Yokai Ningen Bem to B-Daman. I watched nearly everything on TV. Was pretty crazy back then lol, catching re-airs 6:00 in the morning before going to school, switching between channels trying to watch both animes, giving up amusement parks in favour of TV... Didn't know about Youtube and other sites back then.

First anime - Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade. My entire family used to watch them like crazy. We also had beyblades, pokemon cards and stuff 😀 We'd watch the anime first and then start playing some game related to it. Especially loved playing with beyblades.

First manga - Dengeki Daisy, about a little more than a year ago..
