one of the best by masayuki on December 3rd, 2009, 9:55pm

this manga is awesome i tell you. at least in romance drama school etc genres. i just finished ch 71, and i cant wait to read the next. the art is pretty nice, and there's a lot of drama, plot twists and the like, its great. im still hooked.

Yeah... by Daxisheart on October 19th, 2009, 7:29pm

Honestly, it's painful readind Seo kouji's works. I'm not saying they're bad, but it's... ah... The art is good, pure straight shonen and whatnot, and the characters are pretty cool. Suzuka had a bunch of char development and whatnot. And... it's a character driven plot with romance and occasional ecchi shots...

It's painful. Dude, the protaganist makes the dumbest moves that anyone would make, but as the consequences of this are so painful to watch. Suzuka was even worse; I never even finished it, because it was like, ugh, won't anyone be happy for more than two/three chapters? I mean, eventually it'll be a happy ending, probably, but still, agh!

Eitherway, it's pretty good. some people get a kick out of reading something like this. It's complex... maybe too complex, which is where the ugh comes from. But it's good. It gets a bit harem, although in the end it so-so stays love triangle...

ALL HEROINES FROM ALL HIS MANGAS LOOK THE SAME. LEARN TO DRAW SOMETHING ELSE, DAMMIT.

good manga... but just hasn`t amazed me yet by BrainFreeZe on August 13th, 2009, 2:42pm

firstly, i have to say that i am a fan of his manga. it has a pretty good story to it. But at times it feels that it drags on a bit. Things should quicken up a bit but it can set up for something very surprising, much like his previous work on the trully amazing suzuka (which you should read as well). but for now i am quite pleased with the way this manga presents itself. the art is great and cute. it has ecchi moments but none that are distasteful and over the top. Characters are great and connectible, i didnt know the country had such a variety of characters. i like all the main love interests, and no character is hated (maybe the senpai).

a good read from a great mangaka but if this doesn`t suit please read his previous works which are amazing

all in all i think that if you like reading romance, comedy, ecchi mangas this one wont astound you but it will deliver more than enough to keep you reading more.

worst manga i ever read by hakaman on July 27th, 2009, 4:02pm

it was okay in the beginning but things just got repetitive after a while, dragging on the story. the protagonist is just pathetic trying to get everyone to like him. and not enough character develop, some characters in the beginning got left out. why he put them in anyways? first manga that i would of stopped reading.

Suprising. by flapple on May 3rd, 2009, 10:19pm

Well i love this manga. Also, i couldnt even tell it was by the same author of Suzuka until i looked at who the author was AFTER i read it.

Nice read and promising.

Edit: ok its getting kind of annoying now into ch 54 and there is no main couple yet...

From the author of Suzuka by jackblack901 on March 26th, 2009, 8:26pm

The story is probably different from Suzuka, maybe it even opposes to Suzuka because this is story about a girl going to the countryside instead of a boy going to Tokyo.
But their characteristics is the same. The art is awesome and it is improved a bit from Suzuka. The harem part is complex but always be solved more peacefully and quickly than we expect, this is the thing I like most from this mangaka works. The plot and romance is poetic.
It is going to be a really nice manga.

Excellent by Kitsame on March 26th, 2009, 3:00pm

I'm a huge fan of this manga, and i think it's much better than also very good Suzuka. Why you ask?Well while in Suzuka you could know almost from beginning that Yamato and Suzuka will get together,in Kimi no Iru Machi you don't know who will Haruto choose between Eba and Kanzaki...
Anyways this is a great manga, give it a try and i hope it keep getting better and better

Really love it by Azari02 on February 21st, 2009, 3:06pm

Wow, well I read Suzuka and so far its been my favorite. However, I'm sure Kimi No Iru Machi will soon outrank Suzuka once It gets to the meaty parts. I can totally see how he will have to choose between one or the other, full of suspense... I hope he ends up with Eba...

Peaceful by klamz on February 14th, 2009, 1:52pm

Once again this mangaka has pulled another great story out of his hat. After reading suzuka I stumbled upon this a few months later and noticed the same author so I gave it a shot. This is the first romance manga that gives you a sense of how peaceful rural life can and cant be. Sometimes I find myself just absorbed into the manga and its relaxing story. Plus I am cheering for Eba haha. And it seems the characters ties are more complicated then just their surface value.
