@Savantsage the thing is im probly gonna buy a new one in 2-3 yrs 4 university....so i dont feel like spending a lot on a laptop that'll die in a yr or 2...

You should find the model number and search online for reviews of the laptop. Sometimes, the specs are awesome, and the price is awesome, but it has some kind of terrible problem such as my old Toshiba, which would easily overheat. My next laptop was said to have a below-average battery life.

Seriously the perfidy of acer is astonishing. I own a Travelmate 4602 and it has been a lot of trouble..overheating,short battery life, non existent customer support,faulty hardware ...you name it and I have experienced it.Try IBM imo.

i bought a laptop with amd almost five years ago and it's still alive. i mostly go for amd nowadays as i had intel before and had so much problem with it.
right now, im currently saving to get a tablet. anyone know of a good one that i can use as a digital sketchbook compatible with photoshop?
