How do you know it all ends at death? You can't say 'before you know nothing' with any certainty.

As for your question, for me it depends on the kind of death.

If I'm in a great deal of pain I'll take unconsciousness, if it's a relatively painless death I wouldn't mind being awake if I was in the presence of loved ones.

Well... It's not like the drowing itself would cause me pain, the problem is the despair before the death.

Face Death live and awake. I don't want to wake up the next day finding myself floating on a cloud instead of my nice cozy (maybe a hospital) bed... it'd be a big WTF moment for me... and of course... I'd be pissed off real bad too.

i just dont want to be old. live life to its fullest and burn out before you get dim (does that make any sense 😕 )

It's a morbit topic, but i'd prefer to meet my end head on. No drifting away silently in my sleep or going quietly into the night. To go out with the roar of thunder and never bow to the reaper.
