Question for Female Otakus

What? 'Not look for guy otaku'? I'd love a guy otaku! We could share series! I'm the kinda chick that just likes to sit back, relax, watch some anime and play some video games. Unfortunately I haven't met any guys with similar interests like that. Some of these guys at the beginning of this thread would be like my ideal guy!
Well, I don't think I'd mind if he was talkative or if he didn't speak much. Obviously extremes are annoying, but it's really a matter of if we 'mesh' well - with some people I'm doing all the talking, with others, they are. It just depends on each individual.

OK, back to topic. Somewhat.
A question for female otaku: Would you prefer your partner to be talkative or a person of few words?
Err, talkative as in never shuts the hell up? No thanks...but someone of few words makes the situation even more awkward.
I think talkative meaning always has something to say but not annoying about it? Did that make sense?

Kinda? Something to say, but doesn't talk your ear off? Yeah, that's good as long as its intelligent. 😀

There's this guy who really likes astrophysics, so when he's on the subject, he'll keep on talking and talking far after everyone's done talking and caring. It's kinda cute. But I can imagine it'd get annoying for other people. lol
Oh PS: For the guys, how much do looks matter?

Personality is my number one but I think looks would come second for me. For body, just not someone who is obese, though I would prefer skinny, and for face, one I personally would enjoy looking at 😃
and no specific breast size except lower than D's...

That, I think, is why otaku couples have so much trouble finding each other. Guys want a girl who will relax and hang out, but not look like their great uncle Herbert. It's a fine line between being relaxed enough to not care so much about shopping and clothes, and being so relaxed that you only ever wear tracksuits.
Personally, guys, even nerdy ones, have only ever noticed me when I don't have my glasses on - they're like guy repellers. Which is alright, 'cause I'm doing my HSC, and can't really afford that type of distraction (I don't even really need glasses). It's really funny - I take them off, let down my hair, and it's an hollywood/anime-glasses-girl makeover! Guys need to remember that if they want to snag an otaku girl - often they're prettier than they make out. (I have friends like that too.) They just don't dress up 'cause there's no-one to dress up for.
Of course, I'm just speaking from my experience - by no means do I speak for all otakus...

Well, looks are pretty important, but its definitely not the only thing I would look for. there was another thread where I went into more detail, but I'm really not a fan of makeup, and glasses can definitely be a plus. Glasses just really look attractive on some people... (except maby coke bottle ones)
One question I have is, Do people prefer tanned skin, untanned, or light tan/tan lines etc.
I personally prefer untanned or light tan/tan lines. A really dark full tan for some reason is just a major turnoff for me...

Haha, you're the first guy I've met that thinks glasses are cool. Props to you!
If you like tans, come to Australia. You can't do anything without getting one - just walk around for a day and you get a tan. Fully tanned would be disturbing to me as well - then you KNOW they've been naked for the sole reason of getting a tan. As long as the guy doesn't have a singlet tan - if he did and I saw him shirtless, I don't know that I would be able to prevent myself from laughing.

I agree, some people look extremely good with glasses. Also, I prefer untanned or tan lines too. Maybe fully tanned, but I have had only like two encounters with fully tanned and they were not good ones 🤣 ...

I third the motion of glasses being a good thing. I really don't see how glasses degrade someones look.
Tanned skin is nice as long as its not to the extent that you go and get sunburnt or its so dark you look like an african. Not that theres anything wrong with africans.
p.s sleeping on the beach without sunscreen in Australia is a big no no...

Yet so many people do it anyway... sigh. There's a big thing in Australia right now about tanning beds being the cause of skin cancer - this girl died recently 'cause of it. One of the news programs did one of those polling the public things, asking whether the risk of cancer would make people stop using solariums. It's depressing how many people said that they didn't care as long as they looked good...
I don't reckon glasses are a bad thing, it's just for some people they enhance good looks, while for others they hide them.

Hahaha so true people who say looks don't matter and have it listed under #2 are lying to them selfs >.<. Its normally the first thing people do notice before they meet someone duh... but personality always wins in the end =). People can only look at you for so long till they get sick of your bad personality.

I don't actually think so.
I once met a girl and I thought
that she was very ugly, but after
I had known her for a while, I no longer
thought that way.

I look how i look, i mean if i try to "Enchance" my looks, im still who i am. I always will be and i wotn change, Im like a natrual pillar of rock, wind may wear me down over time, and change me a little, but im still who i am. So, if i find a girl, who will aceept me for who i am, i'd be happy
