...has anyone seen Densha Otoko? I would never go for that kind of guy...and I don't see why it's a problem if girls like to go shopping for clothes and therefore like dressing up for her boyfriend. D:

@Kevinkgood: I agree that too much spending on clothes is a bit excessive, but what if it's manga that you're buying? wouldn't that count as well as a bit of an extravagant buy (considering that you're a hardcore otaku, money means no compare to manga/anime, right?)

Yeah, money can be a big problem with that, even if i would have money available to just throw around (oh how I wish XD) I would hate to see it just burned like that, it would be much better to save it up, and buy something useful/worthwhile
I'm not a very fashion conscious person 🤣 Even though I could go out and buy some new clothes, I'm still wearing most of the same stuff from two, three, even four years ago. I HATE shopping for new clothes, and will wear what I have until there is no other choice but to replace it.

It sucks when a guy spends all of his money on games/manga/anime/etc. and looks like a slob. I mean, looks aren't EVERYTHING, but at least be presentable. There is something called balance between the two..

Exactly. I don't care if he doesn't look like the next GQ cover model, I don't really mind if he can't color coordinate his clothes (I'll help him if he lets me), but if he criticizes me for my love of fasion, then it's a different issue.
