Have you ever sent one to someone? Have you ever received one?

What do you think about them? Sweet or too cliche? D: I don't have any experience
with them, but I think I'd definitely appreciate it. Despite it being "oldskool", it's still cute~

I've written some, only one or two have been given though.

I like the expressing of how you feel to another through different mediums besides the physical and vocal.

Does sticking a post-it note that says "you look like a hobo, shave" on his forehead before he wakes up count? Because that's as close to a love note anyone's going to get from me. 😐

That's like, the ultimate love expression.

People actually do that in real life? I always thought it was just something someone invented in a story and it became a really popular idea to use

I saw a lot of them in elementary school (not really in middle since I went to an all-girl's school unless a girl had a bf or something). Girls would get all giggly when they drew hearts all over their crushe's name and left it somewhere the boy could get it. It was cute I guess now that I look back on it haha In high school they don't do it as much but when they do (and you'll be amazed what you find in your desk!) it's really really sappy... 🤣

I went with** I appreciate it **since i did receive a few from some guys during my high school years. Unfortunately it was never from someone i was interested but i did appreciate it 🙂 I also have a girl cousin who received one recently and she is in middle school right now.

I dont really think that giving letters is really done that much here in America but yeah it happens. Also for some reason i think guys tend to be the ones that write the letters and not girls. At least that is what i've seen. Anyone have the same thought?

I myself have never written a love letter to anyone i liked... it would just be too embarrasing! 😮
ahh i forgot to mention. I think writing a love letter is cute and sweet. Also its better than a text message or even a phone call. It means they put some thought into it 🙂 and it lets you think about how to reply.

Have sent/recieved them. Not in the manga style, but more the old-fashioned styled.

I got one in form of a Christmas card, it said Merry Christmas, had a her number, name and a few lines about what she thinks of me. The thing was I didn't know who she was so I was a bit freaked out by the whole thing, considering that it was sent to my University dorm via mail.

I can appreciate it...
It depends where it goes.
If it goes off the deep end into metaphors and rhyming I will laugh till I'm rolling on the floor.
