we need more tho, since there are already so many "rules" for the internet lol.

2. There is ALWAYS a love interest

1. Every manga longer than one volume must have a bathing scene.

2. Every manga longer than two volumes must have a hot springs bathing scene.

Okay, I didn't read all of the "Laws of Anime Physics" (too long! 😀 ), so some of these might be repeats:

Mostly shoujo but there are some shounen:

1. When the heroine trips/falls, the boy he likes will always be there to catch her (with matching flowers and sparkly stuff in the background)
2. The more handsome, intelligent, talented (read: attractive) a guy is, the less he is interested in women. Also, the more fan clubs he has, the less he is interested as well. Corollary: The quiet male types always show no interest in women: (*points to Kurama from YYH)
3. When a girl finally confesses to a guy, everyone else around the area magically disappears.
4. Orphans are always the strongest fighters.
5. If the girl is a complete tomboy, there will always be a scene where she has to wear make-up and feminine clothes.
6. The sultry seductive woman is always the villain.
