a) Especially shoujo:

The villain must be insanely beautiful and will be accompanied with cherry blossoms and/or roses whenever he appears on the scene. All women, living or not, pale in comparison to his looks and lots of people will fall for him.

b) There will at least be one character who will sparkle and glow(maybe they carry invisible cartons of glitter powder and moisturiser?). These sparkles and glows will cause the others to either go "kyyyaaa... kawaii" or to fall for him/her and so forth.

c) If everyone loves the pretty boy or girl, there'll be at least one to 2 people conspiring to achieve vengeance.

d) Almost all pretty boys are either goody 2 shoes or malicious bastards. Same for females.

e) If the female looks all sweet and innocent, she might actually have a violent temper in disguise.

f) Even if the cast comes from different eras and speak different language/dialects, all of them will have no communication problems.
