Omamori Himari - Harem + Demon-Hunting. We need something to breath life into the genre, which seems to be leaning too much on eroge.

Yes, there is one planned. It listed 2008 as the starting date, so it's presumably planned for Fall, but I'm uncertain as to whether or not it has been delayed.

Not now.... maybe in future when the manga storyline has progressed further.

Should be directed by the same guy who did Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, using a 'film noir' type of look.... soundtrack should either be trippy brit indie-rock or deep progressive house/breakbeat .... animation by Manglobe Inc (Champloo/Ergo Proxy).... no CG please....

If done right, it will probably be the coolest anime series of all time.... by far! 😎

there's probably like a hundred shonen manga that deserved to be turned into an anime but as for me, i'd like to see this manga in anime:

1. Fairy Tail - Shonen, fantasy, adventure, action
2. Omamori Himari - Shonen, action, adventure, romance
3. Psyren - Shonen, fantasy, action, adventure
4. Double Arts - Shonen, fantasy, action, adventure, romance
5. Ahiru no Sora - Shonen, sports
6. ID(manhwa) - Shonen, fantasy, action, adventure, romance
7. Kurohime - Shonen, fantasy, action, adventure, romance

Hmm... there's a couple more but for now i'd settle to the above seven first 😛

Never quite got down to reading Pluto yet.... still waiting for it to be completed. Would probably make an excellent anime (Madhouse did well with Monster.), especially if they let Satoshi Kon co-direct it.

Not sure about Yotsubato!.... I mean, turning Calvin & Hobbes into a cartoon would be tantamount to bastardization.... although Azumanga was done pretty well, I'm still not sure for Yotsubato!

Blood Alone would be awesome with Kure-nai level voice acting and some beautiful, hand painted artwork.... no CG of course.... Like Dogs, I think it would work well with a 'film noir' or pseudo-goth look. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah.... Vikings speaking Nihon would be weird. Can't even begin to imagine it.
