Well, I definitely wouldn't call it the typical romance.. 🤣 But romance/love does play a huge part in Kei Kurono's life..

yea but there's usually some romance aspect in every story
the romance tag is just when it's the reason for the story

Rurouni Kenshin is specifically tagged as a romance, and the author pointed it out as one. The concepts of a romance are there, but they don't dominate the scene.

Although the Romance development(between two Main chars) is kinda sloooow. 😐

Hana Yori Dango is really good, although it kinda drags on forever. Zettai kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) is funny and sweet as well. Crossroads is another.

(seconded)MeruPuri: One day Airi Hoshino's magic mirror spits out a young boy who turns out to be a prince of a magical kingdom. (super cute, hilarious and sugar-sweet)

Angel Sanctuary: Setsuna Mudo is the reincarnation of an angel who turned against God to protect the demon realm, but he cares less about that than he does for his younger sister. (Incest, but done in a way that you probably won't mind. The incest put me off at first too, but one line changed my mind.)

Red River: Yuri's life is going great. She's just gotten her first kiss and it seems that nothing could possibly go wrong. That is until she gets sucked into a water puddle and ends up in the ancient Hitthite empire.
