No. "Undergoing fixing" is just some formality. 🤣

Site related questions-

-How come sometimes you can't vote in the polls even when a thread isn't locked?

It might be a bug/glitch, but I wouldn't know.

There's always the chance you voted, didn't post and forgot about it.

It was an awesome search function. You know that you have to choose between, "Manga" - "Author" - "Scanlators" etc., right? Well, with global search it listed them all directly under seperate categories. So that means you wouldn't have to do one click extra.

🤣

It's been taken off though, since it uses too much bandwidth(?) or some such.

Would it ever come back?

I doubt it, since members/users are increasing everyday, the burden increases everyday...

Anyone know a free program that enables you to cut fragments from a video?

Pretty sure that's not the case but thank you.

I use Vidmex. Free and less complicated.

Uhh, that probably is the reason why. The only time you can't vote is when the thread is locked or when you already voted. However, the site poll on the left bar is different. If you click "Result", you can't vote at all

Just noticed you could donate for the site, heh. So is there another way to donate? Pretty sure it's not a bug but for some reason I can't get through to the site.

The link works though. Just click the button "PayPal Donate" on the left side and it'll take you to our PayPal account and stuff. If you can't access it, it's a problem on your side

^ Ah didn't notice the reply, but yes it was a problem on my side, thank you.^-^

Sorry for another site related question but it's been bugging me for a while. In the new release page you can always see the new release and your highlighted genres and whatnot, but how come when I log off I can see some series that weren't listed when I was logged on? I thought it might be the filtering but I don't have it set as of now...

The only reason would be filtering

Like I said I have no genre filtered, and the series I can't see are actually suppose to be highlighted. And they're all new releases...I guess it's a glitch...

Edit: This is what I mean~
Logged on-
Logged off-

Or is it just me?

Does sleeping late or lack of sleep really cause dandruff? This was the doctors' explanation to me for having it... 😐

And to think, just a few months ago, another doctor told me I had skin disorder... 🤣

First time I'm hearing that one.... I sleep an average of once every 3 days, and don't have dandruff problems, despite having thick hair.

Your skin can get real dry from lack of sleep, though.... which could lead to a dry scalp.... some people mistake seborrheic dermatitis for dandruff (and vice versa).

You sure he's a doctor? 🤣

Never heard of it, guess I should be careful then since I only sleep like 12 hrs a week.

You probably just have really dry skin.

Can anyone explain why visual novels are so expensive, even though they are pretty cheap to make?

Sometimes it makes me feel no longer bad about downloading them.

Depends what your definition of "cheap" is.

First off, they need a good story to work with (even eroge's need a good plot). A lot of time is spent on this.
Hours upon hours of hard work is spent on drawing the different scenes, backgrounds, and sometimes, animations...and that's only the art "department". Programmers are also needed too...
Then there's music production - which I doubt is "cheap", depending how "epic" the makers want it to be.
Oh, and don't forget voice actors. Though this too, depends on how great they want it to be as there are quite a lot of voiceless visual novels.

So yeah...not exactly "cheap" to make.

Also, compared to real games, visual novels are considerably cheaper! (I've never seen one going for $100+)

P.S - Watch/read Welcome to the NHK to get a little feel of how hard it can be to make one xD
