Mmm-kay, btw, can you explain meaning of a joke "I drink your... MILKSHAKE!" ? 😕

Isn't that a terrible treath? Kinda like, "I'll eat your dango!" Or in Russia, "I'll eat your vareniki!"

hmm..a question related to this forum.

Everytime I see the Online members list, I usually see "Red flowers" marked on some of the usernames.. what are those?

Those icons signify that those members are part of the Baka-Updates Folding@Home team. Info here: http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=1451.

Thanks!! Gosh! I'm such a n00b! 🤣

Hmm. A site question:

Global searching is currently undergoing a fix. Please use the search feature for the individual section you wish to search, or click on a release below.

So, what exactly is the global searching thing? Is it any different from how it is now? Just wondering since now is that I actually noticed that part...

It was an awesome search function. You know that you have to choose between, "Manga" - "Author" - "Scanlators" etc., right? Well, with global search it listed them all directly under seperate categories. So that means you wouldn't have to do one click extra.

🤣

It's been taken off though, since it uses too much bandwidth(?) or some such.

A Question related to internet forums, youtube and emails in general.

When you Ignore/Block someone's email/username account in forum or email settings, does that mean that that particular person you want to avoid can't communicate with you at any circumstances, even if he/she created a new account? Plus, I heard in another forum that an admin said something about getting a hold of IP addresses on users' CPU..what is that?

If you block/Ignore a user it's for that username only unless you can block out his IP address which I doubt is possible in such cases unless you are an admin and IP banned the guy.

IP means internet protocol and sort of helps tells you where this user is currently located in the world. It is also a unique set of numbers to differentiate computers from each other on the net or a network. So it's a lot like a license plate for each device on a network.

ah! Thanks for clarifying it. =D

Sometimes as I'm walking around town, the person coming the opposite direction on the sidewalk will actually step off the sidewalk as we pass - what's with that?!?

I'm staying nicely on my own side & plenty of people just walk past while staying on the sidewalk, so it's not strictly an issue of whether there's enough room.

I can't decide if people are being rude ("weird/scary/whatever woman that I don't want to come anywhere near, better step off to pass!") or polite ("Oh, I'll just step off to be sure she has enough room & doesn't feel like she should step off while we pass.")! 🤣

Only cases I had seen is when the other person is someone that wants to avoid me or someone I want to avoid meeting 🤣 That and coincidence Ô_Ö

Well, I don't know them, but maybe they know me?!?!? 😲
(I don't know why people I don't know would know me, though...)

I think it's the latter. I do that too, especially if someone seems like they're in a hurry or has a lot of stuff to carry.

Yeah I think it's the latter too. I can only think of one person that does that out of politeness.

That's actually common, I think. Kinda scary though...Maybe I'm just forgetful.

Site related questions-

-How come sometimes you can't vote in the polls even when a thread isn't locked?

-Something I just noticed, but when there's a list of recommendations for a series like Naruto, what does the blue-shaded color on some titles mean?

-Just noticed you could donate for the site, heh. So is there another way to donate? Pretty sure it's not a bug but for some reason I can't get through to the site. 😐

It might be a bug/glitch, but I wouldn't know.

The bluer it is, the closer it's supposed to be to the plot.

Yeah will it? I mean it says undergoing fixing, but I wonder for how long it has been like that. Not complaining though since I've never tried it, the way it is now is fine with me.
