I'm glad you don't live in Italy and you don't have to see stuff like "Slayers" called "A spell slightly opened betweens the blossoms of time" or "Magic Knight Rayearth" called "A door closed a little at the ends of the Sun" (and consider yourself fortunate that you don't have the verbs used in our language for that 😀 ).
Especially when speaking with someone he/she recalls this cartoon from childhood and after he/she says: ""A spell slightly opened betweens the blossoms of time" you answer, "Ah, Slayers" and he/she goes with: "Slayers what?!?"

And I'm not even going to start with the characters names...

And there are a lot of yaoi titles that just don't sound right in English, or they make them really dumb. I'm trying to think of a best example...

I dislike it whenever the name is not the original in Roumaji or at least an accurate translation of it.
