Because if you read again the first volumes, you can trace many parallelism between the heroine from the movie and Toujo Aya. She is also the girl that starts everything falling from the roof and she was as dumb as Manaka, so they just should pair off. I think that Kawashita changed her mind about the ending because Nishino's popularity was too strong and that would have disappointed her fans (but not me).

Naruto is clearly in love with Sasuke, but it won't end in that way. So whatever it ends it's wrong.

But the worst couple ever is in the anime Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

He cause her incident. He should have waited until his death that she exit from coma, not pairing off with her best friend.

i absolutely despise who Hachi ends up with. It pissed me off when she got pregnant and chose that dumb ass Takumi. I mean Takumi seems to care about her but it just seems he wanted her just play house because his family was so freaking messed up. It was Nobu's fault becasue he acted like a wuss. yazawa should have invited another charater that was messed up (lol all the characters are messed at this point) but was not afraid to show his love. Or she could have waited for Shin to grow up and stop seeing her as his mother. I liked the way it ended. It was normal (more realistic). Aya waited to long. I was routing for her for a while but after a while she pissed me off. But what pissed me off more was when he finally made up his mind about Tsukasa and then she goes away! but they still ended up together so i was happy again. lol but i love the way he asked her out in the beginning. I also would have accepted if he chose Satsuki

Mmm... I was was satisfied with Peach Girl's pairing...

I'm really glad Momo ended up with Kairi. Even though he was a bit of a pervert and had that period of Momo not being "his #1." I'm SO happy she didn't end up with Toji. I know he was a trainwreck 'cause he had Sae blackmailing him but he could have stopped being a pussy and went to Momo and said "Sae's lyek blackmailing me. butt I stil luv yu, kk?" instead of breaking up with her/putting her through hell. Sae's seriously f*cked up, by the way. But in the end I felt sorry for her. I never ended up reading Peach Girl Reverse, though. Is it worth reading?

As for Ichigo 100% I wasn't so much disappointed as seriously confused. I felt it just kind of came out of nowhere. He had so much relationship development with the other girls it just kind of came as a surprise. It made sense but still...

You kind of thought that since she was his girlfriend for a while you'd see her more even though she went to a different school. Then just out of nowhere she ends up with him at the end. I would have preferred Satsuki.

off-topic@chocoroll: I totally agree with your sig =p Is the anime ahead of volume 5 of the manga yet? Because that's all that's been released/scanlated so far. From what I've seen, the filler in the anime isn't that bad so I'm willing to watch it. I disagree quite strongly with Formula's choice to leave out honorifics since it is such a huge and important part of Japanese culture. But I would gladly put up with it. My only peeve is they translated "Amu-senpai" to "upperclassmen Amu." That made me want to punch someone. Really, really hard. It can't be worse than Sailor Moon's filler. What is it with cramming as much filler as possible into mahou shoujo anime? I know the manga's chapters are usually only released on a monthly basis, but still! Wait until it's done or something!

Ick, so much ick, 'cause it felt so forced, and I hate forced sad endings more than forced happy ones 'cause the sad ones leave such a bad taste.
