Biased vote on WoW for me 🤣
Of course, I've tried many others, but none have kept me playing for so long. 😀

and I know this has been said a lot but I think it should be repeated, so....
Diablo II isnt an MMORPG xD

I still honestly think that Asheron's Call was one of the best MMORPG's I've ever played, and also one of the oldest ones I know of. I tried WoW for a little while and I found it very....annoying, only because they didn't allow me to change character stats which is an important thing in mmo's to me (if anyone disagree's with me I don't really care) Lately though I've been playing Cabal, and it seems pretty decent for a free to play mmo.

Well I picked up World of Warcraft and I was stuck at lvl 22 for like 5 months. So I canceled that and picked up City of Heroes so, ill say City of Heroes. even though it is not on the list and Diablo is awesome and is not a mmo

I think the best is Guildwars. I have tried a lot of other games but I lose interest in them very fast. Been playing Guildwars for about two and a half years now.

^ I agree in some context. I like the way they keep the level cap to 20 and like the various in game competitions they carry out.

I used to play Factions but have stopped currently as Faction as a standalone package is quite boring

Ragnarok was good but its too old now.

I like WoW best because it doesn't force me to grind 24/7 for 6 month to reach end game like most korean mmo grindfest. How long was it from lv60 to lv70, hmm it was like a week and like 8h playing time each day, yet I still played for 1 year on that lv 70 before I decided to freeze my acc and wait for expansion, it show how refined endgame in WoW, they had everything to offer for casual player and for hardcore player. Korean games are only fits for Hardcore, casual will get owned big time.

and also the wow pvp combat so far is the best.

Eh, I used to play MapleStory.
And then one morning, I got angry.
And erased every existence of said mmorpg.
Good times.

Gunz Online, its free and u can basically kill anybody at lvl 15, great for anybody who don't like grindfest.

I'm guilty of playing this quite a bit, I just love the movement, feels so good. Though if you want to genre it, it's more of a 3rd person shooter.

There's a huge amount of poor free mmos around today, if you want to spend time playing one, you may as well pay for a good one. I'd recognise World of Warcraft as the best mmorpg at the moment. EQ2 is a lot more immersive and nice to look at, however like guild wars, it's unresponsive, still fun if you don't have pvp as a top priority.
