Used to play maplestory....it was fun till i got bored of all the grinding...lacked pvp and intresting quests...and graphics....and music....imo Maplestory is something you really need to play with a lot of friends or it will get boring fast.
Recently i started playing Sword of the New World after a long break from MMORPGs, its pretty fun, its a relatively new game, and you control 3 players simultaneously which i believe is unique to this mmorpg, nice graphics, great background music, and u can pvp.

I'm guilty of playing this quite a bit, I just love the movement, feels so good. Though if you want to genre it, it's more of a 3rd person shooter.

ijji?

I think everyone who's played Maplestory feels the same way. I'm no exception.

Guild Wars and WoW. Both had me addicted for a while.

EVE Online, not really a "RPG" in the traditional sense, but it's a MMO for sure - often compared to WoW in sense of popularity.
There's a 26 days trial over at steampowered.com for anyone interested.

I play Gunz too, as Brassiere. If you hear anyone complaining about, "that crazy maid with the grenade launcher," you'll know that I've been playing that day.

As for MMOs, I say City of Heroes is the best. I'm a guy that craves action and prefer to have as much control over my character as possible. CoH provides that within a great MMO environment plus they throw in the ability to gain a travel power as low as level 14! It's also NOT medieval which is a HUGE bonus in my book!

Granado Espada and World of Kung Fu aren't even up there.

And really, those are the only ones worth playing.
