I'm not sure whether this thread was started already : D But anyways~~ I would like to have some reccomendations on time/world traveling mangas : ) Preferably "past to present" ^__^ But from present to past is ok too. 😀

As for world traveling, all types are cool 😀

ones I've taking quite a liking to
Shinobi Life
Silver Diamond <3
From Far Away (Kanata Kara)
Rakuen Route (not really time/world traveling...but hey, it's hilarious xP)
Safe Again Today (aliens dropping in x3 )
Amatsuki
Tamago no Kimi

Pretty ok
Kyou Kara Maou
Operation Liberate Men (started good, then it got boring)
Angel Diary (same as rakuen route, but not kinda boring)
Threads of Time

Not that good
New Sexy Simpleton (didn't bother to read Sexy Simpleton :/ )
Red River
To Love Ru (meh, cliched as the other stories like "DearS." Girl from outer space fall in bath tub, meh. :/)

Please reccommend me some more~~ 😀 Hopefully that list will help on the search 🙂

If you like Shinobi Life, then I think you'll definitely love Tonari no Shugoshin. It's really adorable.

Ryo is about some legendary swordsman who ends up in modern times.

Togari's a great series, with a more action-y bent. There are some great fish-out-of water scenes as the hero tries to adjust to the modern world.

Harukana Machi-E: Middle-aged man travels back in time and winds up "repeating" several months worth of his childhood. Very moving.

Hoshi no Koe: Kind of a different kind of time traveling than what we traditionally think of, but it's very good.

How about Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle? It's not so much time traveling (though there's a drop combined with very cool world traveling) but there's a lot of hopping around all over the CLAMP multiverse. Pretty well defined worlds, each having their own unique flavors, plus a great central ensemble cast.

Definetely seconding Taniguchi's Harukana Machi-E. Also suggesting the ultra-surreal The Journey To The End of the World and Apollo’s Song.
