I play Warhammer 40k and I really want to play the original. Have you played any?

I used to play 40k but got bored of it. Also played D&D but it got tiresome after a while, due people coming into and dropping out when they felt like which broke the flow of the game...

some chess (tried shogi too) but i prefer warhammer: fantasy battle (dark elves) but also have a 40k army prepared (necrons). (we play on a snooker table at my friends place mostly, but i have my own table stored too)
best game i played had been 3vs3 on fantasy battle and a 2vs2 on 40k (damn they took hours to complete)'

EDIT: forgot to mention that I've played "Magic: the gathering" too (for 10 years i think)

Been playing D&D since Edition 2 and Paranoia on occasion.

Though, we can cheat and say that I also play Chess and Clue every now and then.

D&D since edition 1(now on the 4.0 wizard, youll love it), anyway most preferred is the 2nd edition, and after it the 3.5.

Played Warhammer Fantasy (borrowed Bretonnia, got pwned by High Elves, damn ballistaes), i'd like to make a WH 40k Blood Angels Army (im gonna tatoo their emblem on my left arm soon, before next summer i SWEAR to myself)

Im also playing to Warhammer Fantasy Role Playing Game: well its a bit hard to survive cleanly (ive got amputed a leg <.< 😉 , but nonetheless its really fun (also because im playing a quite mad and overobsessed Zealot)

Those games are real lifesavers in a life of darn work/study/various stresses. Thumbs up for them.

I need a die with 2 sides.

That's known as a "coin".

Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.

They are stress relievers but also builds stress like if you mess up painting. But any ways forgot to put that I also play D&D but all the time I play everyone loses interest. Right now I am waiting to find out when my friend is making a D20 modern campaign. He said it had to do with post apocalptia ,aliens ,commies , zombies and super powers. Sounds awesome to me. I also may enter a Call of Chthlu campaign

I advise you that Call of Cthulhu ISNT a stress reliever, on the contrary! (very difficult, you tend to become crazy or die at any given moment) 🤣

So I think the question is more like what board game don't I play. Let's see, 3 years ago I was the state champion for my grade at chess. I am also decent at go and chinese chess. I also played 40k for near on 5 years, warhammer fantasy for 3, warmachine for 3, hordes for 2, risk, stratego. You name it, I have probably played it. I am a huge addict for all kinds of games.

I'm sure anyone that has read Hikaru no Go (and loved it, or even just liked it) has tried Go at least once. 😉

I think a lot of people have played cards, unless the person was raised in a really strict household that didn't allow playing cards because it was thought to lead to gambling (I read this in a book about the 1800s, so maybe there are some strict families that still continue this thinking).
