Nope, your interpretation of the statistics is faulty. 50% of parents who found out that their child would have disabilities aborted...that doesn't necessarily mean that 50% of ALL parents would do the same under the same circumstances. I'd guess that most of the terminated pregnancies were cases where the kid would have MAJOR problems, the kind that keep them in the hospital for most of their (short) lives, though I'm sure there were some cases where the disability would be less serious.

As long as the inbreeding is kept to isolated incidents, the kids are likely to be biologically fine, but I still have an "ewwww, ick" reaction to anything closer than cousins. 🤢

yea, i agree, i know some people might terminate after finding out about a problem, but alot of people care deeply about their kids and wont term just couse of a minor problem, it'd have to be pretty serious for a caring parent to do that...

but to stay on topic, i've never heard about anything irl more than cousin on cousin that was consentiul(spelling?), not that it doesent happen, tho, i dont really approve of incest, but to each their own, i suppose.

I never been close to my cousins, I have too many, my father has 3 sisters, and 3 brothers, each of them have like 3-4 kids. In fact sometimes I even forgot some of their name.

I had an insane crush on my cousin and he on me..we had never met before until my trip to my gramparents hometown and we started becoming friends and joking around and somehow we kind felt attracted to each other knowing full that he was my cousin, to make the story short, he fell for me and try numerous times to kiss me but I wouldn't let him not becuase he was my cousin but because I had a boyfriend at the time and I didn't want to cheat on him 🤣 I know I have a kind of twisted sense of morality 😁

And when I was ready to leave we stayed up until late at night talking and he told me how he didn't wanted me to leave and all that sweet talk guys throw at a girls lap, he played music romantic and depressing all night long and he didn't show up to say goodbye in a way of sulking....I neve saw him again since we lived AWAY to far.

Last I knew about him was that he married his former girlfriend....

I know..it was sad in a sense since I had to go and I never saw him again..He was a fun guy to be around and I loved being around him alot but unfortunatly things were never meant to be..and the thing was that we had to sleep on the same room since our family was so large that Christmas that there were not enough rooms and he would wake me up every morning with drops of cold water for like a whole week..he was that kind of guy. The day that before me trip he turn on the radio and decicated the most love sick songs ever..so I wasn't able to sleep for the whole night knowing full well that he was awake! 😢
