like i said before, to each their own, personaly, i dont think that people should interfear with anothers "love life" regardless of what it may be like, as long as it is consensual and the person is of right mindset to be able to make the choice( as long as they are of the proper age, that is.) but then again i see myself as a very open minded person and i dont really expect anyone else to agree with me, everyone has their own ops and i am just expressing mine 😃 😁

i met my cousin once...daughter of my father's younger brother..
she's a good girl in a way of saying.. nice, decent,polite, and mostly beautiful.. i fell for her..then i found out she's my cousin.. based on morality, i decided not to talk to her..(pretty much what i've done to any of my relative(except my mom and my brother, i don't know who's who))

lol i always thought my cousin was pretty growing up, but i wouldent go as far as to say i had feelings for her....

Part of the problem with incest, I think, is that there's usually some degree of one person being in a position of authority over the other. Between siblings there's usually one that's older, or one that's usually been "in charge" even if they're not older. In that situation, I'd think it would be hard to say it's really 100% consensual, because there would (could? might?) be that undertone of going along with the person who's been in authority all those years....

Also it's fine to say, "well as long as they don't have kids, the genetic stuff doesn't matter", but pregnancies are not always planned, & unplanned pregnancies aren't always as simple to deal with once they happen as the people involved might think ahead of time.

Once you get as far away as cousins I really have no problem with it, though if a family had a history of cousins marrying then the genetic problems become more likely.

Very true. Look at the English Royal family or any other European Royals. Incest lead to Hemophilia in many of it's decendents even if they married from other families as they to also practiced it.

Incest in anime is okay...but in RL its kinda plain creepy to me. Kinda gives me this twitching sensation talking about this.
