yay for emo!!! Emo is such a generic term nowadays, I only call people emo if they call themselves emo, and I have plenty of friends who call themselves emo (of course i jokingly ridicule them for all their emo'y worth).

I call people emo when I want them to to stop behaving like an emo, it usualy works.

I have eliminated the word from my vocabulary. It is the most overused word in my area. Everything is emo where I live. If you have ever been in a mood that was anything less then ecstatic, then you were labelled emo.
"You're looking more and more unhappy these days, are you becoming emo or something?"
"Go away I hate you and your worthless labels that huge corporations use to make millions off of you and all of your gullible sheep friends. How's it feel to be a lemming with downs?"
"...talk about anger management issues."
"How much would I have to pay for you to swallow the pieces of a broken tic-tac container?"
I am not prostrate. I am looking at the sky on the other side of Earth.

I refer to emo in the music sense only.
Because, usually "emo" kids are actually "scene"/"suicidal" kids.
Anyways, I think little emo kids with their bowl cut hair are so cute. I want to own one myself.

Hurm. Well, I do use the term, mainly on people that are actually Emos themselves. Same way I'd call a Goth a Goth, because their appearance says so. Not judged on their music, because I call strangers Goths so I'd hardly know their music taste off-hand (has to be some chance they don't all listen to Industrial etc.)
Funny how they all strive to be unique and individual, when they all conform to a strict dress code of black or general dark colors, piercings, eyeliner etc.
Nerds for the win.

That's known as a "coin".
Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.
Does somebody who hates emoism actually like emos, because he wants them to stop hurting themselves?

Altruists care.
Atomists don't.
Elitists don't.
Liberalists don't.
Collectivists do if they find any use for the person.

Emo used to be a short form for Emotionally Hardcore but now it has changed into an adjective for people who dress in a certain style and it's own clique. Well it's what I think anyway 😀

I have no idea... People who dress in black?... ALL black?....
It makes ma laugh though. The whole thing of "having a statment" by wearing black clothes... They want to be different, but than so many people do the same... Not really effective. ~
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.
