How you think this best represents manga updates: This little bot shows, that although managaupdates started out small, it's grown alot over the past few years, and really helps support the smaller scanlators not matter how young or small they're group is!
BIO: Meet B.U.G: Bot Unit Guide 001
This little bot will help guide you though mangaupdates, tell you of new releases, new forum posts and polls.
Although pretty tiny, this little bot is pretty tough, made outta some of the strongers metals, and don't worry about him getting in the way, as he can fly about looking for new updates through the RSS! Unit 001 only comes in grey/ orange colors, but comes with attachments like a lazar cannon, nice flat screen TV!
B.U.G is ready to be your guide and mascot for Mangaupdates!

How much effort: Three shots of rum and a hot dog. Roughly 30 minutes with photshop cs3 and mouse.
How it represents MU: Bumu is a pig that loyally sniffs out newly translated anime/manga for its english speaking masters. He is not me in a funny pig suit from last night...
Edit: Somehow I like my rough black and white one better. 😛

Be patient we still got a whole month, also don't vote on which looks funnier but form ur vote around which represents the MU community as whole, although drunk guy in a pig suit represents me quite well >.> <.<

I think he drew it first then scanned it into the pc and just did color and shadow with the mouse.

I usually would have done what funkmu1 described but my scanner is busted. I was going to do a catgirl bikini Gundam otherwise but it would have been too detailed for me to make it worth the effort without a scanner. It would have been sorta like a one-shot I saw a while back of a girl wearing a cat-eared Vader helmet only with more fan-service. 🤣

I like Kip the best because B.U.G. doesn't really appeal to me and Bumu just looks like a rip off of that mouse in Full Metal Panic, but all of the work submited looks good anyway.
