Damn fine work my friend. It actually inspired me to go back and change mine for the better. Amazing what people can do in MS Paint, I have never been skilled with it.

I like blackraven's the most so far too. My problem with a lot of these entries is the lack of violent temperament that I think our mascot needs, considering the nature of most manga. The monster manga reader who shouldn't be disturbed by outsiders theme really fits too.

Yes, but you need to remember that not all manga here is of violent temperament, ala shounen style. There a many shoujo, romance, and comedy mangas that also symbolize MU (at least in my opinion.) I mean, look at the banner. The first thing I think of is a cute girl or funny creature, then maybe shounen.

I guess. In my entry I'll try to throw in some missing elements, and I've got a good idea, but I still don't think it'll win against that thing. It's too bad.

yeah, I wanted to do alot of expressions on this guy but for now the cute look and angry look is enough. I actually thought I was already breaking the rules when posting two pics 🤣

I'm excited to see your entry. The more we have the better. I submitted mine for fun since I didn't really think I could win. There are people out there that are a lot better at cartoon design then I am, since I am a realistic artist by trade. It will be interesting to see what everyone submits, I'm hoping we get a few more up here.

Interesting. However, doesn't have much to it. And this is just my prejudice, but I hate those stupid spiral glasses (edit: in manga. If it was only appearing here, I wouldn't care at all. They just get on my nerve is all). No real glasses look like that.
