Just a suggestion, how about multiple winners for the forum? Different mascots for different sections?

Doesn't seem like a good idea. Sure, it might be nice in the future, but since this site has more than just forums, we should probably focus on a full on mascot for MU. Something that people will see and think, "oh, this must have to do with MU". Maybe later they could have it doing different poses for each section.

I kinda thought she was mascot.

Hmmm...actually I'm using my little brothers, Anima-XIII's art style...after all they're the one's teaching me how to draw nicely with a mouse...that character was also originally their creation, I just made a few modifications to make it fit for a Mascot for MU.

a week ago I couldn't even draw a simple apple without messing up and getting annoyed, not to mention I had no knowledge on how to use Photoshop...for now I can only do simple characters like that one...it's hard not having a scanner or tablet, especially for my brothers since they can't draw a comic to enter those competitions they hold on DevArt

Oh well. I figured it would be a winner take all situation. Makes me wish there wasn't a limit to entries though. Every time I see a new contender I feel like trying my hand to one up them. 😛

Need to get a new scanner myself. My current one cost me 50 bucks but it died on me shortly after the new year started. Not sure if I should get another cheap scanner or go look into a more expensive model.

Tablets are an acquired taste. It feels far more like a mouse than a pen and pencil and in many cases works far less effectively. Accidental clicks and selections happen all the time with tablets. Then again I'm only familiar with the lower end of tablets (Wacom Graphires). At 100 bucks a pop though, I hesitate to call them cheap.

One was DOA, another broke due to abuse and the third one came with a crappy pen grip with rubber that rotted away after about a month of constant use. I switched to scanning and mouse drawing in Photoshop ever since. That damned cintiq 12wx is such a tempting looking 1000 dollar bastard though.

how much effort put in this work :
i make this mascot simple so that everyone can draw it too!
searching and thinking process takes 2+ hours,drawing on paper takes -10 minutes,redraw and color it on PS takes 45+ minutes(sorry i suck on PS).

whole process takes 3+ hours including posting on this forum ^_^

it is Supabaka's job to help users update their manga list,helps search for manga,and find infos!

id like to add more abt this mascot but sorry for my poor english as this is not my native language... 😛
