Dragonball was crap
Akira will probably be crap
GITS will probably be crap
and so will Bleach!

Hollywood should just stick to giving as BIG budget and flashy block buster movies.
lets not forget the manhwa Priest Live action coming this year which is totally Crap, the least they could have done was stick to the original plot.

If i do watch any of them it will be purely out of curiosity.

Umm. Dude, did you just watch the entire movie thinking Yamcha was Vegeta? That's almost as sinful as the very existence of DB Evolution.

Anyway, you guys know they're going to have to 'westernize' Bleach right? I mean, how many non-fans would you see going to movie about shi-nay-ga-mees trying to save some chicks/a small town in Japan? Personally, I don't think it'll work out or come to fruition.

I can't even imagine how the whole thing will turn out, and I'm scared just to think of it.
Actually, they (the producers, directors etc.) should know better that all these anime/manga has a plot that can't be easily adapted for western screens. So they should stop trying!

Can't believe so many DBZ fans actually got through the whole of that piece of shit I had decide to wait till it came out on cable to check it out and only get 5 min into it before I switch the fucking channel. Spent the next few days wondering who the fuck they intended that shit for, cause no DBZ fan would like and can't imagine a non DBZ fan liking it.

I just don't see how this will work out. I can't even see what the hell they'll have as a plot, let alone who'd play the parts. I just can't see it doing well. What's sad is that probably everybody involved with the production of the movie will know it's going to suck, but make it anyway. sigh It's a damn shame that it'll probably be a while before manga/anime gets the same amount of respect from Hollywood that American comics have, which they actually take seriously.
