Your objectivity is showing.

Capitalism is an economic policy. That happens to be conducive to my personal philosophies and political beliefs.

Especially with the recent economic crisis and taxpayers giving their money to save the banks that ruined the economy... I would rather have my Tax dollars go do worthy causes that to prop up banks/corporations...

In Capitalism: Profit is privatised, Loss is public and social...

I think Obama will win, but i haven't really follow campaigns...except for Palins daily tribulations 🤣

But what I saw was mostly negative campaigning...

I do not support the policies of the obama camp. The polls shows he shall win.
Also, all of the advertising was very annoying.

Both parties could've chosen better candidates.

This.

I hope to insert religious being and/or whomever you take great faith in that Obama doesn't get elected. Though in actuality, McCain is no better.

Bob Barr for President?

Why not.
Go libertarians.

I agree with the latter part of your first comment, but I disagree with the rest, honestly.

By giving money to the banks, the 'capitalist system' is flouted. The crux of capitalism lies in the ever present danger of failure.

I would rather my tax dollars go to three things: Education, Infrastructure, and Security.

There are some economic policies that need to be enacted in this country (my country) to foster economic growth and the return of domestic manufacturing. Neither side of the aisle is promoting that right now.

If the polls and projections are anywhere near correct Obama shouldn't have any problems winning both the popular and electoral vote. Unless ALL the polls were wrong he will probably be the next President. Even right leaning organizations like FOX news have been showing him ahead in the last couple weeks.

I actually heard from my GF in GA that a large number of African-American people were actually camping out last night so they could be some of the first ones in the polling booths.
Well I like Obama for most of his proposals (most as to I don't like some)

I like McCain for some of his proposals (some and not most) BUT, I would have voted for McCain (If I wanted to vote) because he "was" the best likely to live to my expectations (not many) But after Palin... well I decided he didn't deserve my vote -_-

For me the issue of Experience was the only thing keeping me away of Obama, and then he pulls an "out of space" move and decided a woman like Palin had enough experience -_-

I don't know what you think, but the VP is extremely important, maybe more important than the President seat... why? Lets say we are in a crisis and Obama is killed and the future of our nation is at risk, I don't know you, but I can trust a guy like Biden, he talks a little too much, but he knows what he is doing (and he is not delusional)

Lets say McCain has a heart attack and dies... 😐 NO THANKS

wtf is with people and sarah palin hate. she doesnt come off as the brightest person, but she has more political experience than obama.
not only that but with the democratic swing we are in, when the next election rolls around we are already going to be a bunch of communists...

Then, try being a communist and perhaps you will learn a thing or two.

really? like what?
how implausible lofty ideals are in the harsh face of reality?
how do murder and suppress my countries own population?
why MY wealth and MY hard work should be redistributed to poor?

the communism experiment has been done. It failed economically. It failed militarily. It failed morally. Time to move on.
Seriously, It annoys me too. Obama wants to take money from people who went to school and have education and give it to the illegal aliens living in our country. Do the poor who have no education deserve money. H NO

It's ignorant nonsense like this, which is inaccurate, by the way, that causes the mods to lock these threads. If you're going to try discussing politics, you should stick to what you actually know, and fact check what you don't. In fact, the closest thing to what you're describing that Obama is actually doing is providing increased tax relief to families with members attending college. But illegals don't pay taxes...

@ juicifer: Sarah Palin does NOT have more political experience then Obama. She has more executive experience, perhaps, but not acual political experience.

@ mods: You'll want to lock this thread before it gets wildly out of hand. It'll be there any second, now.

It's actually when people start calling others names that we lock topics. Or at least in my case.

And in California, (i can only speak for what I know, and I live in California), one of the bluest of the blue states, illegal aliens who are residents of the state of California are eligible for 1. Medi-Cal, 2. In State tuition rates, and 3. Cal Grant.

I'm pretty sure they are eligible for stuff like TANF and WTOW, as well.

Double Post due to important infromation:

Stop telling us to lock the thread. The discussion here is tepid, at worst. I have not seen any name calling, belittling, or rudeness of any sort, other than people touting ignorance as a means to lock the thread.

Please keep it polite, as it has been, for the most part.
